POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
I Punched a Wall - Dealing With Epilepsy
This is something I wrote, after I punched a wall.. It's amazing what gives you motivation just to speak your mind.
I'm 99% sure this isn't a poem, or a spoken word.. But it's a message that I had to get out, so people could understand what the life is like living with a chronic illness.
I Punched a Wall - Dealing With Epilepsy
I punched a wall today.
honestly, I see that as a good thing
the pent up anger shattered over the inanimate surface that represents the walls I've built myself
I left a trace where people can see.. that deep down...

Misinformed
Tensing muscles and clenching jaws
Reminiscing life with conspicuous flaws
Silenced body, shrieking mind
Happy moments.. impossible to find
Wakeful nights, exhausting days
Wondering how I survived, yesterday
This is me, and how I feel
but don't worry, "It's no big deal"

I miss you
Hi, I miss you
Do you remember,
when we were young?
playing together
having fun
that little green box,
were we would meet,
or how about the rocks,
at the end of the street,
so beautiful and bright,
I think you know who,
a magnificent sight,
I'm talking about you,
together, forever,
we said it out loud,
how ever the weather,
for casts dark clouds,
10 years has past,
we talk once in a while,
time flies so fast,
when I can't see your smile,
No longer in the same city,
here...

One way Mirror
Imagine being in front of a one way mirror.
On your side, you have four walls. They're blank. You see nothing but grey.
You're screaming, you want out.
You want to be understood and helped.
The other side? Hundreds of people watching... Staring...
They think you're crazy...
The door is to the left, why don't you just walk out?
They don't see it, but the seams are gone.
The handle is non-existant.
There is no way out, by yourself anyways..
If someone would just open the door, you would be free. You can calm down and...

My Life is a Contradiction
My 2nd attempt ever at a poem. I'm starting to like making these. It allows me to express my true emotions without being judged so harshly.
Any HONEST opinion is appreciated, on both the message and the structure of the poem. I want to create better and better poems, and would love opinions on how to make mine better.
Thanks to everyone who is reading, best of luck.
My Life is a Contradiction
My whole life is a contradiction.
I have the key to a cell that I have created myself, yet I stand here puzzled on how to get out
I feel pain,...

A free mind.
Have you ever just wanted a free mind?
I mean, when you can just exist, and forget everything?
Not for the reason that you don't enjoy what you are doing,
but for the reason that it will allow you to do anything you want.
You know nothing of consequences, or the risk of your action.
The true feeling of free. It's something I wish I had.
I have anxiety, and with anxiety.. I limit myself, to the point where going outside could just be too much.
I hate it.
I love the thought of allowing myself to go on a trip, nothing planned.
Just go...
