KEYS
In one lifetime
We hold many keys
To many doors.
Some we open many times
And some we never see again.
Keys to boxes we lock
And hold
But never open.
Keys that connect us to others
And keys we invent
That open our imaginations.
But however many keys
We may collect
Throughout our life
We must remember,
There is no lock
On the final door.
We hold many keys
To many doors.
Some we open many times
And some we never see again.
Keys to boxes we lock
And hold
But never open.
Keys that connect us to others
And keys we invent
That open our imaginations.
But however many keys
We may collect
Throughout our life
We must remember,
There is no lock
On the final door.

Sweet Dreams and a Happy Tomorrow
I only recently said goodbye.
You will always be a dream
Wrapped up in gauzy memory.
You walked into my life
In shining armor
Through the mist.
My White Angel,
Sword ablaze
For honor
And all that is right.
The mist cleared,
Hands full of roses
At the wrong time.
While you were my dream,
My reality broke my heart.
I wore it tainted
Round my neck,
And you never knew.
I left you wondering
With empty hands
How our sweet dreams
Could be so cold.
You should know
The promises were...
You will always be a dream
Wrapped up in gauzy memory.
You walked into my life
In shining armor
Through the mist.
My White Angel,

For honor
And all that is right.

Upside-Down & Inside-Out
The world is
Upside-down
And I am
Standing on the ceiling.
I gain this new perspective
With a smile.
The sky is
Inside-out
And I am
Flying through the water.
Laughingly I wave
As birds swim by.
The wind
Is colored purple
And the water's
Running backward.
The animals can speak
And the flowers love to gossip.
Our pillow
Is the soft grass
And the night sky
Is our blanket
And the stars sing us to sleep
For the world is what we make it.

Personal Creationism
Soft and trusting hands explore my landscape.
High mountains and low valleys
Bring your own peak to it's greatest heights.
Plunging yourself into pools of colour wonderful,
My opening accepts you like a sweet kiss,
Embraces you like coming home.
Our eyes roll back,
Bringing visions of a beautiful horizon.
Our worlds colliding again and again.
This is how creation came to be!
Our own big bang looming
As the music of our moans grow ever louder
Ever closer.
Earthquakes move and roll
Harder and faster,
Closer and closer.
Heavy...

Summer Passion
Memories and laughter
We thought would last forever,
now forgotten.
Passion turned
Into just another summer fling.
So many plans made.
So much time devoted.
All gone now.
Erased
And replaced.
It's just another summer fling.
I thought I'd found peace,
But where is peace in choas?
Where is love in anger?
We reached for eternity
And ended up
With just another summer fling.
We promised a lifetime,
Now we've moved on.
Same plans, same places,
Different hands, different faces.
Will you remember me...
We thought would last forever,
now forgotten.

Wind Dancer
Fairy wings of silver blue sheen,
Shining, shimmering.
Skin pink petal soft
With a glimmer of its own.
Eyes bright and crystal deep blue,
Playful and curious.
Hair spun of golden sun,
Soft and silky,
Carressed by the wind.
Smile warm,
Happy and bright.
Ears pointed,
Delicate as the rest.
Barely dressed
Baring shoulders,
Midriff,
Most of shapely legs,
Following fine figure.
Always barefoot.
Adored by many,
Loved by more.
Marysanna,
Fairychild,
Dancing on the wind.
Shining, shimmering.
Skin pink petal soft
With a glimmer of its own.

You Never Will
I cry
As I think
Of all the wasted time.
Of all the lies.
My tears fall
And break like glass.
Looking out the window,
I see you coming.
But you never arrive.
And I know you never will.
As I think
Of all the wasted time.
Of all the lies.
My tears fall
And break like glass.
Looking out the window,
I see you coming.
But you never arrive.
And I know you never will.

Inspiration
Thoughts come into my mind,
Fleeting, like wind through a quiet garden
Where the flowers are always in bloom.
They coil themselves inside my mind,
Often entangled in one another.
I cannot capture them all
As they float by on the breeze.
I cannot untangle all of the wild
Ever growing vines.
I cannot understand
Every whispered line,
But at least I can hear the wind.
Fleeting, like wind through a quiet garden
Where the flowers are always in bloom.
They coil themselves inside my mind,
Often entangled in one another.
I cannot capture them all
As they float by on the breeze.
I cannot untangle all of the wild

I cannot understand
Every whispered line,
But at least I can hear the wind.

Kisses on the Wind
Sweet honey wind, Love's empty cry.
Kisses fly away with it. Wanting to die.
Angels sing praises to an empty god.
Confused, all alone. Feelings are so odd.
Lullabyes trying to sing me to dream.
Things will never be the same, though wishing it would seem.
Kisses fly upon the wind, floating closer to me.
Voices whisper endlessly. Why won't they let me be?
Players play upon a stage not knowing what they say.
Love that's true will never die, but kisses fly away.
Longing for the happiness that once we all had known.
I sleep, and...
Kisses fly away with it. Wanting to die.

Confused, all alone. Feelings are so odd.

Solitude
Heart turned dark.
Feelings run cold.
Lost and alone.
No hand to hold.
Burried my warmth,
Deep within.
Hiding myself,
From a world of sin.
Friends who once loved,
Now turn their heads from me.
If only I could open my heart,
For all to truly see.
Afraid of those
Wanting to grow near.
The closer they are, the more they hurt.
Everyone I must fear.
Is there one to earn my trust
Who is worthy of my heart?
Always appologizing for things I haven't done.
Always I am torn apart.
I must find myself...
Feelings run cold.
Lost and alone.
No hand to hold.
Burried my warmth,
Deep within.
Hiding myself,
From a world of sin.
Friends who once loved,
Now turn their heads from me.
If only I could open my heart,

Daddy's Little Girl
To elternal sunsets,
And rain that falls
When there isn't a cloud
In the sky.
To planets that move,
As he says,
Just for her.
And the music
That forever
Plays in her mind.
To the late night rehearsals,
Parties and costumes galore.
He would let her be
Anything she wanted to be.
As long as she stayed
His little girl...
Daddy's Little Girl.
And rain that falls
When there isn't a cloud
In the sky.
To planets that move,
As he says,
Just for her.
And the music
That forever
Plays in her mind.
To the late night rehearsals,
Parties and costumes galore.

Anything she wanted to be.
As long as she stayed
His little girl...

Phantom
I revel in darkness.
Wrapped in the sadness
Of the sky.
The meloncholy moon
My only light.
I am the master of my world.
My canvas filled
With the colors of my soul.
Though my heart screams;
For these empty,
Thoughtless beings
Have no depth
In their shallow world.
But let them see
What they want to see.
My starry cloak
Rather than
My firey eyes.
I shall be free from judgement
For I know who I am.
I am the one
The Night Goddess herself
Cannot hold onto,
Though she longs to.
I am the very picture...
Wrapped in the sadness
Of the sky.
The meloncholy moon
My only light.
I am the master of my world.
My canvas filled
With the colors of my soul.
Though my heart screams;
For these empty,
Thoughtless beings
Have no depth
