TRADITIONAL ADVICE ON TELLING YOUNGSTERS ABOUT SEX
(This would have been the gist pre-contraception.)
Tell sons, daughters, nephews, nieces,
That the purpose of their 'pieces'
Is to carry on the species,
In the arms of whom God pleases
Be their 'Misters' or 'Missusses',
Through the seed that sex releases,
Otherwise man's presence ceases
In the final analyses.

NOTE TO A NURSE
To you, my favourite little nurse,
I give in thanks this little verse.
You are my angel of good care,
Never-idle limbs and neat-kept hair.
Your way does put me at my ease
After the trauma and dis-ease.
I ask, a-whisper not a shout,
“Would you like me to take you out?”
Not out of lust or sentiment
But gentlemanly compliment.
Whose company to better share
Than one who has your gift of care?
I give in thanks this little verse.

SUCCUBUS
(Inspired by words and accompanying picture - hence description below - of Strider's poem "A Dream to Sleep".)
She comes in a veil (not that of a bride)
To lure the sleepy-headed man inside
Her curvaceous form, devoid of raiment,
Available for his entertainment.
She gestures with ever-welcoming arms
And bids him enjoy her succulent charms.
But, through the otherwise revealing lace
The beholder cannot see her real face,
Almost a void, as dark as Death itself.
She’s certainly no angel of good health,
For this faux woman is not one...

REPLY TO 'THE REAL ME'
(Imagined reply to latest poem by Darkest Desires.)
Sometimes it takes making mistakes
To find true love that never breaks.
Don't fret about imperfect charms,
You're welcomed with accepting arms.
I love the woman that's within,
And don't get hung up by past sin.
If about me you think the same,
This is REAL love and not a game.
Sometimes it takes making mistakes
To find true love that never breaks.
Don't fret about imperfect charms,
You're welcomed with accepting arms.
I love the woman that's within,
And don't get hung up by past sin.
If about me you think the same,
This is REAL love and not a game.

COUPLE ON BEACH
On a beach where all shapes and sizes did throng,
Away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong,
With her in a bikini and him in his thong,
The couple looked straight out of the Solomon Song.
The couple had not been married very long:
They were so much in love that they saw nothing wrong
In displaying their affection that was so strong,
Their grips on each other seemed tighter than King Kong.

GOT A BONE
My dog-man gets his ‘bone’,
(His manhood erect grown).
His voice changes in tone,
He descends to that moan,
I respond with my groan,
When by him I am ‘known’.
How we each other own,
In those hot moments flown!
When greyer I have grown
And the decades have flown,
And I’m living alone
And kids call me “Old crone!”
While you have turned to bone
Underneath a gravestone,
I’ll still “hear”, as on phone,
Our bedtime moan and groan!
(His manhood erect grown).
His voice changes in tone,
He descends to that moan,
I respond with my groan,
When by him I am ‘known’.
How we each other own,
In those hot moments flown!
When greyer I have grown
And the decades have flown,

KUNIGUNDE
(Not autobiographical - one of a number of names I experimentally build rhymes out of.)
I met a girl called Kunigunde
At a dance at the Rotunda.
I called her “The world’s eighth wonder”;
She said my way with words stunned her.
Nordic maiden ripe for plunder,
I soon had her “up and under”.
Parting her long legs asunder,
We made love to sound of thunder,
Then my sheath tore – what a blunder!
Nine months on she was rotunder,
Gave birth to a bouncing wonder.
We wed, else her folks had shunned her.

THE WALL
(This whimsical story of lust-to-horror was sparked today by the forum about favourite places to have sex, and it grew around what became the last line of verse three.)
They would be each other’s downfall,
The end they came to did appall.
They met and hooked up at a ball;
She fished for men, that’s where she’d trawl.
He fell in her seductive thrall.
They were identically tall,
He keen to make love as to brawl,
With a becoming, rugged drawl,
That spoke of travels in Nepal.
They later sneaked outside the Hall.
Each other they began to...

ODE TO REEVA STEENKAMP
She seemed so full of life and fun,
Her gold hair and smile shone like sun,
Making a picture few would shun.
The news of her killing did stun,
Reportedly by lover’s gun.
(Courts will hear more what he had done.)
No more across the screens she’ll run;
For her, the next life has begun.
Her gold hair and smile shone like sun,
Making a picture few would shun.
The news of her killing did stun,
Reportedly by lover’s gun.
(Courts will hear more what he had done.)
No more across the screens she’ll run;
For her, the next life has begun.

For you my arms are open wide
For you my arms are open wide;
If you crave love, then step inside.
Within my heart there does abide
A doting lover’s joy and pride.
You’ve trudged too long, come for a ride!
Let’s frolic in the passion tide
Till all sadness or pain subside –
Signed by Your Ever Loving Bride

OVERTURE TO GEISHA
(Imaginative, written under influence of memories of TV series "Shogun".)
Can you give a tired man,
A stranger in Japan,
(A storm-bound Englishman)
Not of a shogun clan,
Who’s toiled till his sweat ran,
The love a woman can?
Raise his attention span
With a treat, of your plan,
Teasing him with your fan.
Let his eyes on you scan,
While you admire his tan?
(Your own face seems so wan.)
Give me your answer, ‘san,
O, geisha courtesan,
If on us there’s no ban.

(A storm-bound Englishman)
Not of a shogun clan,
Who’s toiled till his sweat ran,
The love a woman can?
