Ok so I got into poetry a few years ago during a depression. I have gotten a lot of inspiration from one of my favorite bands, Rise Against. I am open to criticism, and would love advice on how to make my poems better.

Always and forever until the end
Forever and always I'll be your friend
To guide and protect you fight if i must
I want you to know that this is not lust
I've fallen deeply only for you
I hope that you fell for me too

Gone Forever Alive With Me
No longer you're here
The rains come to stay
Why did it happen
On that tragic day
Why did you leave me
Here all alone
How could I not see
The symptoms you've shown
No day now goes by
That I do not think
And when realized not here
My feelings just sink
You're still on my mind
Day in and day out
And there are still days
That I need to shout
WHY DID YOU TAKE HER
WHY IS SHE GONE NOW
Bury my head in my face
And ask myself how
How could I have stopped this

It's days that were farthest
That hurt the most
But in days of our closeness
I'll be the host
For the one who has taught me
And shown me the light
That all in this world
Will be alright

And whisper in my ear
You say that you love me
But no one is near
I feel your presence

The Best Will Come Later
The best will come later
First we endure
The separation between
What we live for
And when the day comes
Of reunite
Never again ill
Leave your sight
You mean too much to me
To let you just go
I promise I'm genuine
There is no false show
You give me all
I've ever asked for
And never have I wanted
To leave through the door
And baby there's so much
To tell you right now
But to be honest
I am unsure of how
So let three words suffice
For all that I do
A kiss on the cheek follows
I love you

Head pound
Blood rush
No one tries
To even hush
My pleading cries
Of hurt and want
But the task of calm
Seems to daunt
Somebody help me
I'm out of control
I need help
'Fore I take a toll
On ones I want
To stay near

A Prayer For My Love
I hope she's ok
With where she is now
As my ends start to fray
And always ask how
I pray she has strength

Emotionful Soul
The inner part
Of the soul they say
Is the one that which
Feelings convey
But how do I reach it
To let them all out
's'it a slow process
Or a quick frightened shout
I can't hold it longer
I'm gonna explode
I just am not able
Can carry this load
Please help rid of me
This burden that's on
My shoulders of darkness
Let me see the dawn

By all the pressure

God I miss her
Right by my side
