I know I shouldn't love you
but I just do
Nothing about you
makes sense
Nothing about you
fits into my perfect image
but everything about you
fits into my heart

Don't wait for me
Rather wait for God
Don't wait on me
Rather wait on God
Because I do not like to make promises
I feel like promises always lead to disappointments
So rather carry on,
Carry on with your life
And if you are in my reach
I will reach out to you
If I can still hold you
I will grab onto you
But until then keep moving
Because I can't ask you to wait for me when I'm working on moving forward
So I can't ask you to stop everything for me because that would be the most selfish decision I could ever...

I had to Watch you leave
The first time I met you
I was afraid of you
I was afraid of letting you in
and letting you become a part of me
I was afraid of letting you change my life
Letting you change the stability that I had
So I had to let our conversations
stay in my mind
I had to let our touches
stay in my imagination

Would you notice my steps and notice my ways?

Gratitude for Sadness
It took me forever to finally say that I'm over it
And now that I'm over it
I feel like I'm ready for my forever
I'm ready to hold her,
to touch her to kiss her
I'm ready to feel for her
I'm ready to be with her
And I'm ready to spend eternity with her
I'm ready for forever to finally mean forever
I'm ready for Forever to never mean leaving when things get tough
I'm finally ready to see what tomorrow looks like
I can finally look at yesterday and smile and be happy
I can finally shake sadness' hand and say thank you
...
And now that I'm over it
I feel like I'm ready for my forever
I'm ready to hold her,

When she arose that morning
she knew
that today was the day to let him go -
that it would be the last time
she was his reason to smile,
that on that day
she would break their bond.
Breaking the deal
the same way they sealed it
However this time their kiss
would be the kiss of pain.
She chose an outfit she rarely wore
Took twice as long to get ready
Hiding her sorrow with a smile
And made her way to him.
On the way she was filled with doubt
Was this the right decision
He was always so good...
she knew
that today was the day to let him go -
that it would be the last time
she was his reason to smile,
that on that day
she would break their bond.

I wonder if you still dream about me
the way you used to
I wonder if the version of me
you see in your dreams
Is the version you fell in love with
I wonder how happy I am in your dreams
If I still look at you the way I used to
If I still make you smile
Better yet if I still make you laugh
Do you dream about the future
Do you see your dreams coming true
Will you see the world with the same eyes

But I'm unbeatable
They thought they could stop me
But I'm unstoppable
I've Failed
I've Fallen
I've Loved
However I keep getting up
I keep striving
I keep trying
Because I cannot be defeated
They tried to crush my dreams
But they were too Big
They crushed my Ego
But I still have God
You may try to beat me
You may try to stop me
You may try to break me
You may try to hurt me
You may try to crush me

What Love Never was (incomplete)
I don't think Love was ever meant to be understood
No, Love was meant to be felt because the love we claim to understand is exactly what Love never was
I wonder If Love was ever supposed to be commercialized
If Love was supposed to be bought
If Love really comes with a pricetag
This is what love never was
What Love never was
Love was never supposed to hurt
It was supposed to feel great
It was supposed to be about finding your soul mate
Now its about broken souls finding each other
Mending each other

Just Keep Walking
I tell you now
Keep walking
When you stumble
Keep walking
When you fall
Pick yourself up
And keep walking
Never look back
At your sorrows
You have other storms ahead
So just keep walking
Never run away from your troubles
You only have so much energy
Face them
Triumph over them
It won't be easy though
But when its over
Keep walking
Keep walking
Even if they keep pointing at you
Keep walking
Even when they give you strange looks
Keep going
Even when they don't understand ...

The Situation
I had a conversation with my God
Just so he can know about you
I asked him to bless you
To make you prosper
For he knows
How much of a blessing
You have been
In my Life
Like water to a camel
You became my rebecca
I Don't really know why i wrote this
But I just realised how what we have
is so spiritual.
So I had to Ask God
To keep us strong
So I let God into my heart
And He speaks
whenever my heart beats
And each time I'm with you
My heart speaks more effectively
And He advises me on what to say...

Purgatory, Long Poem to Heaven
They say Purgatory
is the space between
heaven and hell
so is it purgatory
when a son tries to get to heaven
while
his father is going through hell
I am perplexed
Why So little Good happens around me
While I remain a Good person
I am perplexed
Am I of little Faith
Am I of Great faith
I don't know
All I know is that
I have so many ups and downs
So many factors
I sometimes wonder
If I am truly me
If I am comfortable with me
Have you ever looked outside a window
And wondered why...
