I'm not sure
What to say
If there is a way
To say it
Feelings give way
To some indescribable
Action to which
I'm a slave
But to let
My heart disdain
Would not by any means
Free whatever hides under it all
No, not now
Not with the weight
Of who and why
Bearing against me
I can't stop
To tell you
Or show you
A beating muscle under solemness
My only hope
Or chance as it may be
Is for you to see that
Past it all and stay
What to say
If there is a way
To say it

Some Kind Of Love
Let's stop the mind games
Doctor
But I only ask
In my head
Staring holes through
The glass wall
Your eyes only showing
Slight amusement
You already know
What I will say and do
But you take your time
And read my eyes
You tell me what
I already know
And you know I know
Too
"Why are you visiting?
Miss me already?"
You ask
Patronizingly
Your eyes that
Never change
Flicker slightly
A look I've never seen
Except once when
We first spoke
And you realized...

The Soul Searching Stops Here
Being good enough
Is a virtue
We all hold
Much too often
We can't possibly
Reach the expectations
Of another soul
When we can't even please our own
Maybe that is our
Ultimate goal
Never satisfied with our selves
So long as we satisfy someone else
It's not always an act
Of selfishness
Or hate
To be tired of caring
We're not always the antagonist
Just for not wanting
To be there for the ones
Who give up
Because we gave up
A long while ago
And no one wanted
To kiss our hands and...

The Consequence
Living in wasted lands
Trying desperately to hide
Blood on hands
Sun beating closer in the sky
Eyes blurring by the heat
Getting cottonmouth it's so dry
Running from every hit that seeks
Just hiding hoping it all be over
No more worries for the weak
With every shudder
Doors close
Slamming harder
No one ever shows
Human heart in this land
Because no one's ever known
The consequences at hand
