Death!!
One by one, they disappear from your life.
Mom or dad, husband or wife..
Gramma or papa, you uncle or aunt .
You try to get thru it but at first you just can't.
A brother or sister, someone you adore,
A pastor, a teacher. The old lady next door.
A small child ,a mentor, a lifelong friend...
it just keeps going an going and when does it end?
Yeah I know that its just part of life....
One day your married , husband n wife..
The next yoir a widow and your all on your own.
No reason or warning ...u wake...

Dear Dad
I miss you so much !
This worlds just isn't the same without you.
There's a huge void, a giant emptiness where you used to be.... I walk around in it during the day and cry in the dark at night.
I know death is part of life and they say your in a better place but I guess I'm just selfish cuz I want you back here!!

Do u avoid new people...
Because u don't wanna take a chance?
They could be friend or enemy or another failed romance ....
Sometimes its so much easier to do things on your own.
but I can't stand most people yet I hate to be alone.

I used to think you were so mean.
We didn't get along at all.
I lived w different people and you told me many lies, how could u have done that when I was just a child?
I was daddy's girl.
You tried hard to turn us against him ,
But it just made me love him more.
And I hated you.
If not for dad I wouldn't be here taking care of you.. he showed me I had to find forgiveness. So I did.
I forgave but I never forgot.
Now your broken , lying in bed and my heart breaks for you .
Crazy how thats changed .

My daddy
He was one of those men that are getting so hard to find.
He was rugged and tough and he was one of a kind.
Tough on the outside but with such a big heart.
He had the answers , he was handsome and smart.
He played football in high school as rho he invented the game.
And the crowds in the bleachers always chanted his name
He was a son and a brother Before he became dad,
And now he's in heaven and it makes me so sad .
He taught me in life there's no reason to stress,
Then he married a wife who couldn't care less.
He loved to go...
He was rugged and tough and he was one of a kind.

Train wreck
If only I had known back then.
Had I only had a clue. .
I wonder what i would have changed..I wonder what id do.
Because I knew not what the future held.
I gave it not a thought. .
I just lived my life quite selfishly.
Ignoring all that I was taught.
But I paid no mind, I knew it all...
I was young and dumb.
Never thinking of the pain
That was yet to come.
And now here I am ,20 years passed by...
And my life is town apart.
I had no clue it would hurt this bad...
I thought I was ao smart.
My husband...

So who would of thought , after so very long.
17 months to be exact .
Sept 4th 2018 was when i fell for you.
Sept 2nd, 2023 . Deep in the night. Who would have thought I would look up and there you would be. .
Wow. We walked , we talked, we even shared a kiss or 2.
Then we went our separate ways.

Of course I have faults,
Don't we all?
Sometimes I be trippin,
And sometimes I fall.
But im only human,

Just doing things that humans do.
Im a good person,
I have a big heart ...
My intentions are true,
An I used to be smart.
I try to be good,
But its more fun being bad .
I've never been happy,
Now isn't that sad ?
Life is short ,
and love is for fools....
And im just a felon,.
I've broke all the rules.
You can teach an old dog .
A couple new tricks.
But...
