Seasons of a stone
Like sheep
Weeping in fields of corn
To the slaughter guided
By your will to slay
We supplicate your blood lust
Casting red dye upon
The innocence of a stone
That resides for no reason
Except to be.
Unencumbered by predation
Though only four seasons exist
To polish, and fashion, and set, and display
In a circular conundrum
An understanding of its moment to be
Ever diminishing in stature
It still knows its place
Except to be.
And so chaos of an unknown
Not the polish of tears that soon fall as boulders
Not the fashion...

To tease the mind
Eating sugar makes you sweet,
To smell the lick - to taste - we meet
Melodic sound - make you writhe
To see the join - to touch - we ride
Cooling breeze - caresses each curve
To make the move - to slide - we swerve
Heat increase - to prove the pace
To glisten the wet - to melt - we lace
Words you I - from I to you
To tease the mind - to trick - we do
Morning sun - stream through the crack
To light the dark - to wake - we yak
Coffee boiling - black and strong
To shoot the haze - to kill the throng
Shower refresh - rinse out our sex...
