A Jasmine for my love
What could've been
For dear young Jasmine
A promising new love
Her eyes sparkled
and danced with excitment
A dearing new kind of
Dream and adventure
The one she sought
While growing up
They had arranged and calculated
Her perfect love
But it went unstruck
For her the love she wanted
Was the one she couldn't have
The one that remained hidden
For their Eyes Only
A bloodstained Romance

Sometimes listening to that song reminds me too much of you
Sometimes I still smell your hair on my pillow
Sometimes I feel miles away from you when you're beside me
Sometimes I call your phone praying to get the voicemail
Sometimes the sweater you bought me gets too painful to wear
Sometimes I hear your laughter in mine
Sometimes I write your name in my notebook
Sometimes I order your favourite topping even though I'm slightly allergic to pineapples

Love ain't a rose babe
Its a fucking corpse of lily
Is that your real hair
Cause it looks pretty fake to me
Now you've got that face again

A Slow Painful Death
The minutes felt like hours on Mars
Eloquently she threw herself in his arms
I stood there sitting in disbelief
Such a betrayal could be happening ... to me
Weren't you the one who came knocking at my door
Tears in your speech
A plane taking off, destination death
She drew herself closer to him, their lips met
What if you knew what I knew
Perhaps I'd spoil your appetite
As she heads off on her thermospheric flight
Would you call me an accomplice to suicide

Your Image
Last night I saw you
I felt your presence but you weren't there
I saw everything I love about you
Your eyes, your smile, your hair
But I saw you crying
so I cried too
I'm sorry I didn't kiss away your tears
I sat beside you nervously
I sat beside you and stared
Until I saw there was something else there
I saw your image and felt an impulse
Then I got a strange and sudden feeling
That I didn't want this dream to end
Because although people can talk
You are the only one I hear
