Scars
Scars
i saw the marks of a war within
your skin was shattered & the mask you tried to wear
was less then thin
the game you played.the heavens knew you'd win
your scars invade my mind
like peeping eyes peering through open yet forbidden windows
your body
your worry
your glory
your style & your story
are safely hidden
until i spin a web that only sin could unleash but heaven could unfold
knives & blades pierced a part of you that i could never hold
but until the day i saw your bare arms your pain went untold

Inevitable Hell
Inevitable Hell
thoughts are racing..
& i wonder have i inherited some of you
your silence is rambling on..& the thrill of gambling is gone
I had faith in a risk but reality is way overdue
the roses have vanished and behind the mask i can't see you
all i see is the words that we banished so long ago
i hear you without listening & i understand your emotion by observing the way you lose yourself & find your smile glistening
the tears have dried
the fears turn into dust and everything that once applied
things became unbearable way...
thoughts are racing..

The Death of Rep.
i watched my seemingly spotless slate get covered in dust
my disgust for the skeletons left in my closet
sit like green throw up on a golden plate
the gates of hell unleash unholy gases
toxic fumes start to spread & as we speak the pride in reputation is dead
the dates all add up &

the snake strikes
but the pain of the poison
like most storms passes
& the neon light's of intellect flashes so bright in the distance

I Can't Wait To Hate You
it seem's as if your face enrages me
the slightest thought of your voice cages my soul
i feel as if you took half of my integrity & now no longer is my dignity whole
a constant reminder that what was
is engaging me..
thrusting me into turmoil
so now im watching my standards spoil right before my eyes
after much consideration my heart spies my true desire
with a burning fire

im laying here
wondering
waiting
crying
pleading & trying
to fight this war
here i go again
showing all my colors
all my scars
girls are from Venus & the inevitable man is from mars
i am blessed to see passion
but my previous style of pain no longer fit's
im wearing my heart on my sleeve
& vulnerability is now my choice of
fashion
the worry sit's at the pit of my mind
who ? of all people
would want my kind?
im complex
crazy

long nights consumed with thoughts of doom
come to an end
making room for more
more then i know
more then a glow
more then what im really willing to show
unsure of how to bloom i fight the sunlight

I once inquired why i spent my nights alone
then someone came along & broke my heart of stone
it seemed as if the boulder turned into a rose
but now it's yet another door to close
blooming with rays of hope
i let you in &...all that kept me sane was the
sunshine held together by an endless tugging rope within
You were mine & your only job was
to hold each word together with your doubtful hands
i see every strand dropping
& im left to understand the meaning of heart cropping
You cut a little here & there to highlight the good...
