I'm sitting at the edge
the water shimmers in the sun
the girl I like sitting next to me  
hair blowing in the wind  
we smile at each other  
the wind dies down  
we hug then I feel a tug  
as the block drags me down  
I look into her eyes  and wonder   
is this goodbye  
I slip into the water  
slowly sinking  
looking up at her smiling  
my last thought is why  
must I die when the sky  
is so blue I feel the air leaving me  
as i start to struggle  
I look up and see her with a guy   ...

what is love
is it sweet
is it bitter
is it mean
is it kind
is it fun
is it boring
is it true
is it fake
is love what we think it is
is love what we all want
is love what it means to be happy
is love anything like we think
what is love to me
and to you
I will never know
so its up to you
what is love ?

in the end there is nothing
nothing to hide
nothing to find
nothing to do or cry
the darkness is full
not a light to be seen
in the end it is cold
so cold that you stop
your blood runs cold at the thought
is this what death is like
the peace of the night
not a star in sight
is this the end of my pain
the end of my tears
is this the end of life
is this the end...

living in a world so cold
I shiver at the thought
of what life used to be  
my voice freezing  
unable to talk  
the cold winds blow  
I feel like i'm going to shatter  
in this world so cold I am so alone  
not one person to hear me cry  
my tears freeze when they leave my eyes  
my blood runs cold as if my heart's covered in ice
