If this ain't the sex of your dreams trust it'll be a vision.
You have been holding back so let me bust it open.
It's a freaky side you have under suppression.
They have been undeserving but let me pull the curtain.
I have been slipping myself on paying the price of admission.

Where I went wrong
It should have been good morning text.
What you wanted wasn't that complex.
You deserve the world and I was just damaging yours.
You wanted to see how a man should treat a woman and got ignored.
I said a lot of things I can't take back and I keep wrestling with what I can't take back.
The tongue is mightier than the sword and now we are off track.
I don't know how long it will take to undo the body of work that so long ago I began.
But I know I will piece it back together with a chance grain by grain like sand.

That look you had in your eyes has faded.
When I touch your body it's like I never did.
I know I was with the shit.
I didn't know when to quit but I should have never started.

You can hate me
You can hate me from yesterday until tomorrow but just know I'm standing with you hating the me of yesterday.
I can't go back and change a word or action but I can go beyond an apology.
I am not trying to be selfish and keep you from another man.
I'm trying to show that I can be the man I should have been on the other hand.
You don't look at me the same but do you think I see the same man in the mirror.
I was thinking small doing selfish things when I should have been selfless and doing something bigger.
You have the right to judge me but I should have the chance...

Pushing and running
We have been on a low with the rain coming in.
We have been hurting each other to the point we shouldn't be friends.
It's been something missing that we wouldn't find finger pointing.
The first step is to look back and look at our own reflections.
I have been pushing and you have been running.
Now that we have hit the bottom can we stop the descension.
It's too many years in this thing so can we start the elevation.

I could live without you
I could live without you but I would die from the fatigue.
I have been too far with you to just leave.
I know the difference between want and need.
I could want to live without you but I know what my heart needs.
Crying could help the healing but without you how would I sleep.
I could live without you but where would I find the energy.
