Lost Love
Because of you
I can't stand to be alone
I can't love anybody else
As much as I've loved you
I can't forget you
I don't want to forget you
I try to love another
But always remember you
You're always somewhere in my mind
Because of you
My heart sinks
I inch closer to you
And die inside
I miss "us"
I miss those long, amazing months
We were together
For what seemed like forever
What we thought was true
Happened to be a lie

The House
In my mind
There's a world
In my world
There's a house
In my house
There's a small child
That child has fears
She has regrets
She has feelings
She wants to leave
But when she tries,
A cloud covers her
Because of that cloud,
She can't see
So she's forced to stay
Stay in the house
The house of memories
The house of fears
One day she will escape
When the storm stops
And the sunshine emerges
There's a world

Forever
The dark descends
Quiet empties into the night
Nothing is heard
Not even her muffled screams
She feels alone
She thinks about the end
It's in her reach
But out of her grasp
The pain is terrible
And the death is easy
He comes and goes every night
But she's condemned to the room
Cramped, infested, dark
No matter how loud
No one can hear her
She hears his steps
Her heart beats faster
Not out of love
But out of fright
As he leaves
She plots her escape
Revenge overcomes her
Once a sweet innocent girl
Now...

Love
Love is a word
Until you give it a meaning
Love is a lie
Until you make it the truth
Love is a curse
Until it becomes a blessing
Love is strong
But makes you so weak
Love feels safe
But is so scary
Love is unbearable
But so needed
Love is part of life
Without it we're nothing
With it we feel complete
Until it crushes our hearts
Breaking us into pieces
Left for the next person
Picking us up
And destroying us
Once again
The cycle repeats itself
Over and over
It feels like it won't stop
One day it...
Until you give it a meaning

Ghosts
Ghosts of our past
Come creeping upon us
Overwhelming emotions too strong
The pale shadowy figures
Assemble overhead
Chilling as they surround
Reminding of the terrors
The terrors we try so hard to forget
Memories fill our brains
The coolness of the fright
The warmth of the love
It all turns into darkness
Depression sets in
We ask ourselves why?
We ask ourselves how?
We believe everything is our fault
It all fell apart
Who can ignore those feelings
The unwanted and unloved
The remorse and regret
