The Awakening

As
the dawn warmed up to the sun, I awaken
from
the most wonderful, astral dream
and
the amid the greatness of my bed, there lie you and me
And
I kissed you, hoping to rouse you to awake
My
warm lips touch the back of your neck and I feel your
presence
come alive. You moan so sweet and low......
as
your body rolls my way to embrace me with a kiss
Your
arms reach out to hold me and pull ever so tightly to......
I
feel your love and in the morning You make me feel...
As

seems like reincarnation
from
another life time but
past
is past and there's one thing
weighing
heavy on my mind
The
first time that I see your face
and
the wonderful, big smile that illuminates all time and space
So
damned familiar but yet I see more
I
see at first light what I have never seen before
First
touch, you and I skin to skin
So
much time between us; All the places we've both gone and been
Don't
really seem to...

this voodoo you do takes over my body. Mmmmmm........I have no control

A Man Of A Certain Age
(I honestly don't know how to categorize this poem but if it is in the wrong place, I hope there is a mod who can move it)
Hell, I used to be damned pretty y'all .
Boyish Grin, Bulging biceps and pecs
Standing 6 foot 2inches tall
This man commanded much, much respect
And I worked really hard; took a whole lot of shit
To get the things I now have in life
I've had houses and things; both pets and kids
Once upon a time, I even had a wife
But to find herself one day she did leave and honestly that was...

I Bless The Rains...........
(........because it's raining here)
......in it's gentle rhythm
falling down upon everything around us
Making
wet, making moist-making alive
Just like my lovin' falls down upon you
Baby
Making wet, making moist-bringing you to life
Looking out over
gray skies
Calm and peaceful, inside
You and I
Upon a big bed; a
playground for the varied scenarios
To be played out between
us
There's nothing between us but the cool feel of
Satin sheets,
incense, oils, candles and naked bodies...
......in it's gentle rhythm
