Our Imaginations
Haven't seen you in a while...
then again, I've never seen you
but I know what you sound like
and I love that sexy smile.
I kept the pictures you sent me
and you kept mine too...
the ones with me dressed just how you like
Oh, the things I would do to you.
Your voice so deep
makes me wonder more and more
What you'd be like laying next to me
what I have in store.
Kiss me like you used to
even though I've never felt your lips
touch me so soft and gentle
I imagine your hands on my hips.
Holding me tight
and...
then again, I've never seen you
but I know what you sound like
and I love that sexy smile.

I Pray
Kind of convenient
when you never gave God the time of day
then something bad happens
then you talk to Him all day.
Asking him to help you
make everything okay in life
horrible happenings, complete despair
hurts like a cutting knife.
You've done so many things wrong
why should he forgive you?
Why should he help you now
what is that going to do?
Get down on your knees
beg for forgiveness
but the most you've ever been on your knees
is when you have sex.
The prayer position
you've turned into something dirty
what a disgrace,...
when you never gave God the time of day
then something bad happens
then you talk to Him all day.

Karma is a Bitch
Everything tumbles down
all at once.
Just when I thought I'd
caught a break and was doing
better I fucked up again.
Now my life is over.
I don't even want to be here
any more.
I want to die.
It's not just a feeling either.
Karma is a bitch
and I'm feeling the after
effects.
It came down on me all at once
and I can't handle it.
So, here I sit...waiting.
Waiting to hear more bad news
and waiting to die.
If she isn't with me, there's no
use in living any more.
Maybe she IS better off
with out me.

My friend finally came back here
we starting talking again.
I missed him so much
he was like my best friend.
We let some love stuff
get in the way...
but under past circumstances
we started talking the other day.
I still love you though
you're one of the best men I've ever met.
We're moving on w/o each other
Nothing is going to happen yet.
It's like we're worlds away
just in different time zones
we tried, it didn't work...
and it was time to be alone.
I never stopped wanting to be your friend
and I missed you every day......
we starting talking again.
I missed him so much
he was like my best friend.
We let some love stuff
get in the way...

Sir Heroine
Whether you're a man
Whether you're a woman
I think about you all the time
You're my biggest fan.
The ringing of the phone
the anticipation of the hand-over
makes my nose run
I want no other.
You've been my best friend
my greatest enemy.
You're the one I need, the one I want
you make me feel so free.
A mind-numbing feeling
makes everything go away.
That's the problem now though
My little one will be taken away.
So I can't get in that car and drive
I can't call my other "friends"
not undoing that package is going...

There For Me
Yesterday I called you crying.
Screaming, actually.
I couldn't hardly breathe.
Then I realized you hung up the
phone and I thought you gave
up on me.
Two minutes later you peeled
into the parking lot, jumping
out of your truck and ran to me.
You picked me up and held
me in your large embrace.
I couldn't get it together...
but you sat there until I could.
You just held me.
After minutes more of me explaining,
screaming, apologizing...
all you could say to me, is that
everything was going to be okay.
Then I had to hold you...

irritating and ugly individual.
I often ask myself if when
I met you I fell for you in a

Lonely after a past break up

I watch you sleep
I look at my beautiful
baby girl sleeping next
to me.
Longing for the moment
in the morning when she wakes
me up so she can go
to school.
I've always loved her and thanked
God that she's in my life.
I appreciate her love that she gives
me.
How sad is it that I say now how
soooo much more I love her?
Karma is a bitch...
I guess I deserve to lose her.
Maybe she IS better off with out me.
Just when I thought it'd be okay
they come here.
Now I dont know one day from the
next if she'll come home from
school...if they...

I'm Sorry
You pushed me over the edge this time
just when I thought everything was finally fine.
After all the threats
that ended up being promises
she's my world
my one and only weakness
and now you're taking that away from me
you decided to cross the threshold
between spite and complete hate
now everything unravels and unfolds.
All the bad things that I do
and I'm trying to be good.
Then you call them on me (cps)
I never thought you would.
The woman sat and laughed with me
she couldn't believe all the things you said
I told her...

My "Friend"
What am I supposed to do
when you say that you're
frusterated and confused?
Do I ask vainly if it's
about me?
Am I supposed to act like
your friend or your lover?
I can tell you're in pain.
Something is eating at you
and I wish that I could take
it all away so I could just
see you smile.
I tell you that you can tell
me anything and oddly
enough you did. That you
were glad I'm here for you.
Then...
you kissed me. You said you
couldn't ask for anything better.
To have your best friend and...
when you say that you're

Your finally with me
You open the door for me
takes my hand
till my feet are on the ground
facing my best friend.
Your hazel eyes look into mine
almost hidden by your hat
you smile your crooked smile
I always liked that.
Walking me through the dark
pitch black out in the country...
in the distance you see bonfires
but this is where I'd rather be.
Sitting on the grass
its the last warm night for a while
you put your arms around me
the feeling is wonderful.
You gently kiss my neck
and whisper in my ear
that there is no place you'd rather
be...

Until I see you again
I haven't had a guy
touch my hand
and make me feel
the way you do in
a very long time.
Probably 7 years
(ironically)
No, it's not just because
this is new.
It's because I feel you
holding every part of
my soul and not just my heart.
I think it's because you're
my best friend too.
How I long to talk to you
every minute of every day.
I try not to because I know
your busy but then again
it doesn't stop you either.
I miss you throughout the
day and long for the time
that I can be with you...
