When Will It Stop
I feel nothing
I cry tears.
My mind is a mess
and full of fears.
When will it stop?
When will I begin
to feel normal
and real once again.
Surrounded by nothing
but questions in my head.
Why don't answers
come instead?
Always wanting for
things to fall into place.
This has to end
before I become crazed.

~My Fall~
I lay here and wonder if you feel the same pain,
the pain in the heart that won't go away.
The endless feeling of pulling and tearing,
burning and hurting and constant yearning.
A feeling I don't like at all,
but it's all because of my fall.
My fall for you was an unexpected surprise.
It made me feel as if I was in a world of bliss.
Now I sit and ponder
just what it was that I missed.
I miss our talks going deep into the night.
I miss the feeling that it was all so right.
I miss the way when I read your words,
they had a...

In my mind I see your beautiful face.
I gaze into your eyes of blue,
and all I feel is our love so true.
I dream of touching your face.
It's an image in my mind
that can never be erased.
As we embrace for the very first time,
we feel our heartbeats
pump together in rhyme.
Your soft hands meet with mine,
never wanting to let go
and just stop time.
I feel a love that is so rare and divine.
I do feel that your heart
is in love with mine.
All of this feels so right.

~I Thought I Knew~
I thought I once knew when love was true,
but now I question if your heart ever was mine.
Love should not hurt
or create sadness over time.
You were the one
that once stole my heart.
You turned it to gold from the very start.
Now it's tattered and worn
from the damage you've done,
still beating but in pieces
as if shot with a gun.

My words flow from my mind
Onto paper like never before.
Thoughts about things
Just seem to pour.
It's as if my heart
Has to be hurt first,
In order to become versed.
Struggling to understand
Why it is this way.
It seems my thoughts
Are a little grey.
I need to find
A place in my mind
To lock away these
Words that bind.
I long to be able
To write from the heart
Not just when I'm down
And feel in the dark.

Your ocean eyes filled with blue,
took me to your soul that I already knew.
Thoughts of you stuck in my head,
with feelings so true.
