Lostinthoughts

I have no idea why I'm writing to be honest. I remember like it was yesterday sitting at the kitchen table when I was about 12 in tears. I had to write a poem for an assignment. I sat there with my paper and pencil with my head down sobbing. I was so upset because I didn't know where I was supposed to get the words from. I can't recall what I ended up writing, but all I knew is that I hated it.
Funny how life changes you. I've only been writing for the last year. Words just seem to flow easily sometimes. I hope to continue to write as I get lost in my thoughts and find it healing to put them on paper.
