I dreams of  making it out of this storm that surrounds me everyday of my life.

I fight because I refuse to give up even though the odd's are  against me. I can see it in your eye's how you're waiting on me to fail.

I still remember how you use to say, I'll be dead, locked up or on my way to jail.

But my determination pushed me to get a higher education and I will not become a victim of my own mind like you have.

See I'm going to be old one day and I  want to be able to show children just because you were born with less doesn't mean you can't achieve...
