Don't Forget to Experience Life
Working 9-5 to stay alive.
But it's hard to survive,
When work doesn't provide
Enough essentials
To get by.
So you add more loads,
You forget to live life.
Gotta get it how you live,
Working with a lot of pride.
Bills still come,
No matter how hard you cry.
Doing what you gotta do,
Just trying to survive.
And every day,
You forget to live life.
While you run in the rat race,
Life passes you by.
Time waits for no one,
You can't buy back time.

At War With My Heart
Caught in the middle of
Passion and stability.
In between doing what's right
And what feels good to me.
With one, I'm safe
The other, I'm free.
Should I hide my true self
Just to live comfortably?
One can't be so blind
To our overwhelming chemistry.
I willingly bare my soul
Every time you enter me.
But I need him too,
He is a part of me.
At war with my heart,
My feelings betray me.
I know I need to pick one,
Before this lust consumes me.
Passion and stability.
In between doing what's right
And what feels good to me.
