Jealous - See?
Eye never blinked
A bloodline observed
Nothing unseen
Nothing unnoticed
I exist for your affection
The touch of your impression
Bedevilled by one affliction
Never to see
Never to hold
Never to know my own image
I curse my unknown vanity!
Damned to reflect with jealousy
Everything else but me!
With lense eye and shutter
I'm captured
Painted with light
The fleeting frozen in permanence
I'm revealed but denied to see
Am I ugly? Something of beauty ... or peculiarity?

Motions of Monotony
Invite me to see things so new
Revealed only to a chosen few
Of what mysteries are unspoken
Rather left unsaid.
Leaving the rings of Saturn behind
That encircled my head
To go beyond our stars...
I don't know why some see such splendour and take such wonder.
Everything is dead.
So I don't even bother.

Riddled language
He sings to me in riddles
Riddles of the human condition
From depths of darksome chambers of the heart
Where only truth is found
Each has their own
None is the same
But absolute in its own way.
Stepping deeper into his base note sound
Carried by a voice of tones very low
Sung soft, so slow

Darkness moves
like whispers of unspoken pain
Ignite!
Shatter the splintering light!
Follow with ease
where enigmatic voices lead
In pursuit of damned words
A language dried up
Now unearthly sounds

To Keep Moods and Monsters Away
So far from my truth and thrown off balance
Far from my natural state brought on by this bitter taste
Pulling on the same old strings
Compulsively craving the same old things
Drifting further and further out
Mixing a bit of this, taking a bit of that
Say a prayer and hope its enough to keep moods and monsters away
Familiar tricksters stir confusion
Like contamination rising from depths once kept dormant
Misleading into delusions
The stars and skys are falling
Blackness encroaching
Creeping silent and unkind
Ripping...

Parts Of me Are Missing
i close my eyes so that i might find You
seek the place You hide
maybe i can break through this divide
i find nothing but darkness inside
empty.
hollow.
nothing of my Own.
how much longer must i go on
without You i'm nothing but all alone
