Within the depths of time and tales
Bestowed upon us a weaver's guide
Like the poet spinning rhyme or reason
Or hearing a song during times dilation
A master spinner we hold within Sometimes I think mine giggles in sin
Tangled up with unthinkable knots
It's takes all of me to undo the chaos
I am greatful though to give her due
She is me after all through and through

SILENCE OF THE OCEAN
Serenity's calling by the silence inside of the ocean
Never are we promised reprieve by life's noisy clutter
Cresting on peeks of waves crashing over ourselves
Underneath the ocean's surface reaching out towards the horizon
Freely giving us a world of peaceful generosity
To be touched by the oceanic creatures awaiting our troubled minds
When a lifetime of noise encircles our everyday life
And, we breathe nothing but powerful and personal gain

HUMILITY
I used to think, What does this person have to offer me in my life?
Now I understand, What do I have to offer this person?
It is not enough to be in someone's life experience and feel they should be better off simply because you are a decent human.
It is not enough to be helpful or have compassion for an individual's situation.
What matters to me is, how do people benefit from my humility and desire to succeed?
I am No different from anyone that has lived a life of trial and error.
I have never been handed a life off ease with clear instructions on...

THE MONSTER IN THE LIGHT
Is it a figment of my IMAGINATION or a relevance pertaining to my LIFE
Have I become such a MONSTER in your world, that all you can see is the ugly parts of ME
My monster is like being inside the eye of a STORM
Everything around me is CALM
But, if you look far enough you will see the CHAOS encircling me
The monster you perceive, is UGLY and causes you GRIEF
HATED and DISTASTEFUL
HURTFUL and WASTEFUL

You may feel grief or lifted from my absence
Darling it is only to show that I truly care for you
Had I stayed, you would have been smothered by my presence
