You may feel grief or lifted from my absence
Darling it is only to show that I truly care for you
Had I stayed, you would have been smothered by my presence
I believe in my lifetime, I have been clipped by fate or a master lesson my soul must learn
We can only truly fly when our wings our allowed to mature as our souls intended
To have been in your radar was definitely far from trivial
I have been selfish to have led you believe I was in your life to stay
I am tortured to have caused you sorrow
It seems most I encounter are less than ripe
For you my darling have given more of your time to me
Than I should have ever allowed
I did not leave to try to make you fonder of me
Or to get to your mind by some devious plan
I am gone simply because your life deserved to be no less than grand.
