POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
"I will not die, it's the world that will end." - Unknown
In Danger
Slitting wrists and hanging ropes
I imagine all day long
The time, the place to get it done
But then I think my dad and mom
A transplant failure my body rejecting
The soul I was given when I was born
It shaves my hair, it sleeps all day
It's blank behind a screen, laughs at what I am watching
Left alone the side effects rise to the surface
Deafening my ears with their screams
Distractions to stay alive
Only known antidote for now.

Inside voice
If you are not intertwined
Even being in the same sight
Blinds the eye, covers the heart
You were gone, when sparks flew
We kept it bright, powered through
But those little hints I discarded
Became the piece that won
The arguments with myself
You came back, but nothing felt
Gave it time, but it was dead
Can't wake up, now we wait
The funeral to take place.

Ain't it?
Can you relate with the hate which surrounds our fate
Can you conquer the monster inside your head
Can you prosper with the aims you made
"Me, We." said Mohammed Ali
The way you are reflects the people around you
Truth universal but practiced by few
Molested by them to feed their taboo
Without history we will be a mystery
Without accepting there will be recycling
The ruthless laws the dire liberty
The misunderstandings which led to poverty
Of logic, love, living in Harmony
But no, there will always be a competition ...

Let go
Half a bottle of wine sits inside my closet. I set out to finish it with him once but we never did. I remember I was drinking more of it that he and got avid of taking it home and drinking the rest. As I got home, I immediately hid it in the closet with my mood not wanting to see the site of it. Days has passed and I realize only the idea of drinking at home was what excited me. It sits being turned into something undrinkable. I will drain it soon enough, just trying to find the time and strength to do it.

Human Source
Once love is born it never dies no matter how much you hate or forget that person. It reminds you it is still there once you cool down or you meet that person again. It is the most powerful energy we create within ourselves but we have yet to understand it, use it to help people and power us and our surroundings.
In Harry Potter, in order for the patronus charm to work, one must think of the happiest memories they have in order to defeat the death eaters. Magic aside, hopefully in the future clean energy will come within us.
In Interstellar, love does cross all...

We Shall See
Don't tell me what's on your mind
I don't want to believe it
Assumptions I'm scribbling
But I'm thinking the same thing
Let's not give it power
Let's ignore it's relevance
Revel with our masked affections
Its a bliss in this moment
Use each other for ourselves
Indulge on our cravings
I beg of you let's not ruin this
Even though we both know what's coming
Forget the future we for see
I have waited for you, at last we will meet
Ride the pony until it's red
In the end it will stay dead
There you go as I...

Can you relate?
Parents think they know us but they really don't know us. If they knew whats inside our library of a mind I would be a pessimist and say they will malfunction.
If we tell them what we are going through whether it's school, break ups, or friendship they simplify it. If I'm carefree about studying they think its because I got lazy and they tell me to do the last thing I want to do...study.
What if I'm exhausted because, for the past 5 years I don't remember a break from school work, I'm broken from a friendship that ended, sad because I feel like I'm living under a...

Gamble (cntd...)
I don't want to open my self
It hurts like nothing else
If he doesn't call or text
Being forgotten your nemesis
Until it is silenced by a call
By the one who saw your house inside your soul
The paintings you hanged, the vases you put
He even read the smooched papers on the floor
The broken heart swept under a rug
You showed him all and let the guard go
Now you feel naked and shivering until he gives you his jacket
This one-hour sun is not enough I want more
Chapter two.

Gamble
I want him to be my home
It may be too early to say this
And the feelings I feel are too scary to commit
But I won't turn back
Love is a gamble and I'm willing to raise the bar high

A woman for the rest of her death
And so he traveled to Paris for the sake of his wife even though he was sick. There, he met a professor who can make him better. Not for the sickness which dwindled off on its own, but who can make him be a complete woman.
She was born in a mistaken body. A vehicle she can't get out of. It drove her insane at every tick and at every tock. She married her wife and lived a life were she molded her body to fit. Adapted to the box she was confined in and she dimmed down. But she was just hibernating.
When the first ray of sunshine hit her, she woke up after six years...
