Two Blue Oceans
- Two Blue Oceans -
Memory One: Peace, Serenity, and Sorrow
I look into the distance, and I see the ancient days reflected,
Other worlds, other times, other ages now lost to all records.
I look within, I see the place that is most securely protected,
From within to beyond, to a paradise filled with songs of birds.
A singular oasis, where in other flesh we oft went to feel peace!
Those of my house knew not of our secret meetings, lost love.
Yet I oft did sneak away, to bask in the wonder of your company,
Beneath the moons of a world no eyes see...

If everyone was curious about my name change, it was for two reasons... one being that I did it to honor my recent conversion to Islam, with my new name being now Arabic in origin. This is a tradition for people who convert to Islam, to choose an Arabic name or a name with at least an Arabic meaning to it. And I wished to honor that tradition fully. - Sand, Water, and Spirit -
Across the sands, the whispering of a thousand lifetimes...
I hear the voices calling from the places no ear has heard,
And in the waters that lie hidden, I see the tapestry of the past.
How can I speak of what I have seen, so it can be conferred?
The tapestry of things that flow from the first of all, unto the last.

A Persian Warrior
- A Persian Warrior -
In a time known to history, but forgotten by man,
The mighty Persian army brought low old Babylon.
Great was Babylon, that empire across the sand…
But the power of old Persia had that lost war won,
Leaving blood and desolation, both far and near.
I was there when the Ishtar Gate fell into splinters!
I was there when the proud kings knew utter fear.
My axe held high, the steel in the sun ever glitters,
But that light is soon covered in the blood of men,
And you keep being told to take a life yet again…
