Buyer's Remorse
When the candidate that you voted for has major flaws
they can't be returned via the lemon laws
Even if you have justifiable cause
life is not a VR game that you can reset or put on pause
MAGA supporters are now about their choice excited
but unfortunately to Thanksgiving dinner are now being uninvited
ICE for some will be their newest escort
and for their whole family they will deport
Should they put up a fight-on their throat they will place a knee
and get away with it bc they will have...

A Reality Check
The election of President Harris for POC will not a panacea
she won't come in six guns blazing silver bullets to free ya
Yes there will be a new Female Sheriff in town
but the KKK and Neo Nazis will still be around
The US System will still be broken
even when have our latest Black token
The evils of sexism, racist, misogyny, transphobia and xenophobia will still exist
and slap us in the face every morning with a clenched fist

Chemically Lynched
The US justice system is broken
I wonder if Kamala will be just another token
The powers that be
don't want POC to be free
They keep us wage slaves on their high tech plantations
and when we are murdered rarely give us legit explanations
We are just pawns they sacrifice
and about it never even think twice

An Army Of Two*
An Army of two
just me and you
By day we were freedom fighters
our parties were blow out all nighters
Burning the candle of life at both ends and in the middle
while working to solve the meaning of it's wondrous riddle
Our love was a romance
continuous like a marathon dance
The whole wide world was our turf
together we were willing to battle all who inhabit planet Earth
Kicking butt back to back like in the movie Mr and Mrs Jones
they couldn't stop us even if they called in their drones

Her name is not Pamela or Cam-a-la
it is pronounced Comma-la
She is the blooming Lotus flower of our fair state
and for me that fact is not up for debate
A woman with a winning million-dollar smile
who wears pearls as an homage to classic female style
As fierce as any Lioness at defending her Pride
and the reason why Kavanaugh cried
Her grilling of Barr proved he is unfit
and he was forced to quit
The first woman, Black and South Asian, to be a President
and I can’t wait for her victory in the main event

Hidden Agenda
The MSM is owned by Wealth White Men
and many of their stories belong in a trash bin
On a real topic
they are often Myopic
And on the wrong ones too grandiose
and way too verbose
They cover Presidential elections like a horse race
but, many times get wrong who's in first place
Because they need controversy
and are afraid of Trump bc he will show them no mercy
They will have you believe that Sugar is Splenda
don't get fooled by the MSM's-Hidden Agenda

Watched movies at UA, Oriental and McVickers
the rats lived on crumbs from my snickers
Films about pimps, drug dealers and a Black private dick
they drove caddy's, wore furs, leathers and talked slick
Back in real world was "Nam", Watergate and Nixion's dirty tricks
and 2 World Championships for the Knicks
Apollo 13 never landed on the moon
and NASA killed the project way too soon
Drank Boone's Farm and Ripple
Watched Roberto Clemente who rarely hit a triple
Bought stacked heel from Flagg Brothers ...

My people perish for lack of knowledge of self
and our true history is not on their library's shelf
Our modern music misleads our youth
with prevented versions of the truth
So they turn to booze, weed, coke and dope
instead of finding betters ways to cope
Or they join gangs which are our resident evil
and become pawns in our spiritual upheaval
Princes and Principalities are the real puppet masters
and the architects of all man made disasters
I know how difficult it is to "walk the walk"
