POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
unfinished Nothing ...
I spoke to them of what is true, not knowing what was now isn't.
clinging no more to my safe place of the warning signs, all of that i ignored and so did they.
veered my heart to right making sure I'm still here and a tingle assured my doubt that I'm here and I'm not, between those truths i happen to be and i hope for nothing more.
rays of empathy cut through like the morning cuts through the night, slow yet sharp and sure.
and them, like a songbird that is black and lonesome in the crowd, spilling words to my hopeless head to help me through the night.
clinging no more to my safe place of the warning signs, all of that i ignored and so did they.
veered my heart to right making sure I'm still here and a tingle assured my doubt that I'm here and I'm not, between those truths i happen to be and i hope for nothing more.
rays of empathy cut through like the morning cuts through the night, slow yet sharp and sure.
and them, like a songbird that is black and lonesome in the crowd, spilling words to my hopeless head to help me through the night.
