unfinished Nothing ...
i spoke to them of what is true not knowing that what was is now isn't.
clinging no more to my safe place of the warning signs all of that i ignored and so did they.
i veered my heart to right making sure i'm still here and a tingle assured my doubt, i'm here and i'm not, between those truths i happen to be and i hope for nothing more.
rays of empathy cut through like the morning cuts through the night slow yet sharp and sure.
and them, like a songbird that is black and lonesome in the crowd spilling words to my hopeless head to help me through the night.
