Is it always this dark?
So quiet
It is almost surreal
Is there a journey to embark?
Generating disquiet
Containing little appeal
Was it better before?
Prior to the somesthesia
When you knew you were real
Was it really a chore?
Before the anaesthesia
When you knew how to feel
Yes there was suffering
Nonetheless existence is something others pursue
Now you sit there in limbo, buffering
All because your life you withdrew
