Broken dream
Broken road
Winding up
Memory heavy loaded
Dust settling on a stony track
Turning and winding me back
Clear blue, glint of sea
The bay full of islands
Seen from mountains of green
Monkey apple trees
The dip and the rise
Long driveway shady
Following cicada cries
Tank stand, concrete block walls
Corrugated iron roof, tiled floors
Cool veranda covered with wisteria
Wood burning stove from another era
Camelia bushes heavy with dew
Agaves, roses and palm fronds
Smell of smoke from the steel flue ...

Ghoul
I appear
When fear is near
Clinging to shadowed walls
You know I'm there
I'm bloated
Thin skin slime coated
Many limbs sprawled
Sensing fear emotive
Blindly creeping
Terror weeping
I feed through jaggard maul
A nightmare never sleeping
Everywhere
Silent vibrations in the air
Of horror and deathfall
Led me here
Now I stare
At all of you with a glare
Evil eye of the ghoul
Who will eat your fear
When fear is near

God travels backwards through time
That's how God knows all
Dark thoughts
Light actions
All the distractions
Can judge us before we are born
Our afterlife
Is before our parents had sex
Our essence existed
Before the universe was even a spec
Heaven lives
In the abyss prior to the unknowing black
God started ahead of time
Now traveling back

All the universe
boiling sun
cool, knowing moon
mountains of earth
multitudes of people
endless strife
All just players
In the theatre
Of my life
Forking paths
Shadow worlds
Falling away each step
Create anew with every breath

Then gone again into the mist

Slice
Is a demon
Not very nice
In the hierarchy of hell
He was thirty and thrice
Evil
And dirty
rotten blade lethal
Walking all crooked
since times medieval
Sinners
He cuts
Saws off their fingers
Then goes for the eyes
has them for dinner
Dead
Mens souls
Eternally bled
For the sins of the earth
Keep Slice happily fed
Is a demon
Not very nice
In the hierarchy of hell

The three vignette on nothing
one
Rabbit in the back field
Father got me to shoot it badly with a shotgun
we walked up, it was kicking pathetically
I still held the gun
He said "finish it."
I hesitated
It's eyes shining wide, nostrils flaring
"Finish it!!"
I hammered the shotgun butt
onto the rabbits head
"That's my boy!" He said, proudly
I look into its glazed eyes
I was numb
That death ment nothing

Died very young
we traveled in buses
To line up and kiss...

Meanwhile back in the milky way
I just did a Yoda on the bog
He looked a little like a frog
Small and green and full of wisdom
Untill I flushed him down the cistern
I saw Darth Vader at the bookies
Betting two to one on some wookies
Heavily breathing left in a rocket
Twenty Marlboro's in his pocket
Then passed the millennium falcon
Getting fixed by a bloke called Malcolm
He said it needs new brakes and tires
And engine reconditioning required
Later meet Han solo getting merry
had a few and getting leery
shot a stormtrooper as he passed ...

Soul recollections
I recall
When I had a soul
Life force powerful
Bountiful feelings wonderful
Never in a hole
Always told
That one day I could have it all
So I took risks
I was brave
And in taking gave to much away
Always thought I'd never have to pay
Saying I'll live another day
Having all the fabulous things in the world while my soul stretched thin and gray
Like the hairs on my chest
Now I'm mostly upset
old
And have no soul
But I realize it's for the best
That soul will not be missed

Ladyhawk
On my cycle
In a gale
That winter's night
Away from the sight of my beautiful dead Elaine
on dark old Tetbury lane
Peddling faster
trying hard to master
This awful fright
On ancient paths so cold yet bright from a ghastly moon that casts it's light
Hawthorne hedges
Lining edges
Lank and brown bent grassy verges
That did lead to the open crossroads
Surrounded by foreboding and rotten broken down fallen fences
There upon a pyre
Heaped high with wind fallen ash and hazel ...
