Holding back!
Aren't you tired of this?
Don't you wanna live in bliss?
Ya I tried!
But I can't escape all of this!
I have had to give up friends
just to find out how this ends
but I'll never know
unless i ensure my mind bends
I need to keep my cool
so I don't act like this fool
and lose myself
Cause i'm not just some kinda tool
fighting just for temporary pleasure
when i know it won't do anything to ensure
that this shit doesn't happen
cause if i give in there would have to be a censor
just given to what...

My new mother.
All i have is my friends
and my father
I grew up without
my mother
Her and I
We got into a fight
now I'm disowned
and I see a light
My father said she lies
in which i found out
he wasn't lying
years of it I shut out
She has been in my life
for the last five years
and for those five she
lied through her teeth
One of my fathers friends
she was my "mother"
Treated me like shit
but because she loved me
I realized this now
17 years it took though

I'm not ready to progress
but i have no choice.
High school is almost over
Memories just come flowing back.
I remember when we were kids
All the innocent moments
never completely understanding anything
Showing everyone an equal amount of emotion
Love wasn't a thing
we didn't have to deal with heart ache
we were pure
now it's like everyone hates everyone just because
I still remember the song.
the one we sang to learn
it was how to spell "because"
I miss everyone
I wish we could go back to...
but i have no choice.
