long may you run
On a table the letter sat
Weeks untouched and left unread
The world inside express new meaning
But the will of the hope can never live
Long may you run
To kingdom come
And that letter holds my heart
But it wasn't mine from the start
And if that letter was to be open
Maybe then, my life would be read

over the hills
Early in the morning, often I wake
To the smell of happiness and hate
Colors on the ceiling, cry out my name
But there only wish is to play my game
Sun shine shine, wipe the rain from me
Over the hills, someone's waiting for me
Early afterwards, I'll go in reverse
There's music playing tunes for us
I'll gaze at my phone, hoping she'll call
But that day we ended it all
Sun shine shine, wipe the rain from me

Late at night, when I felt so alone
I texted her why she said she had to go...

heavy soul
Looking in the mirror
I see the dead stare
Though the eyes twinkle
It just isn't there
My shadow stays with me
But soon he must leave
But there is one bit of hope
On this dark and heavy soul
My friends and lovers
They all tend to go
I ended up leaving
A couple of false hope
Bitterness and hard ships
Might have left scars
But there is one bit of hope
On this dark and heavy soul

As I was strumming along
A raven came to hear my song
It listened in awe
As my fingers grew raw
I sang
Fly away and spread the word
This might all sound absurd
I'm done dreaming and done thinkin
that I could have my world
As I played the music
The bird stood to listen
It looked in my soul
And knew why I let go

A long long time ago
I lived with a soul
My smile was real
warmness you can feel
We laughed into the sun
and talked our way back home
We started to run
through fields so stoned
A long long time ago
I felt peace and hope
The sun shines the way
But the light fades
we kissed and loved
All night long
my heart it plunged
into bliss and love
I should have drove
But I let you go
I let you die
cursed for life
we bumped and drank
The night away
We left for town
we left the ground

The black light shines it's glow
Shines on the pictures on my wall
They are from someone special
They are from my love
I sit here alone
Riding on the flying spoon
I wish I can blow it away
Will I ever have my day
I admit this is my fault
I just care to much
Our lives came to a halt
and I just got caught up
the feeling is alive
my only peace of mind
Needles in my brain
The wasps drive me insane
and my heart is there
Beneath my layers
I'll find my way
Only for my baby

I'm going to another world for a sec
The world of a rat that's dead
It was murdered by hunger
And now no longer struggles
I watch it take the poison
That triggers the end
today this one was chosen
Starting but one sin
A man laid this trap
Which fueled deaths wrath
The spine is severed
But it ain't quite over
See his brain is alive
And it's say get away
But he is paralyzed
More than the waist
From his neck down is dead
All that moves is the head
Screaming in silence
Listen to this violence

Finished with my life

Echos on the ceiling
Oh what a feeling

I was actually happy for once
But like metal it quickly rust
I'm not a depressed man
I'm tired of trying the best I can
I'm tired of giving it all
And just to receive a fall
I'm tired of trying
And in the end I'm crying
The world is so ugly
All the beauty left
And in the end It's black
I'm one of the best
My mind is an open space
Filled with bullshit and hate
I don't care what happens now
In the end I hope I just rest in ground

One day I will wake
And all I've dreamed will fade
Everything I've struggled to grasp
It will all just collapse
The lonely road I have walked
It will rot away like rain and chalk
The memories and cherished thoughts
Sooner than later will all be gone
As much as I hate this unforgiving world
I can't ever leave this girl
she is the only thing keeping me hope
I owe it to her to never let go
I guess that I'm afraid to die
Only because I hate goodbyes
Wake me up
