A tear
The early summer breeze tousles my short, brown hair as I recap the memories of the past school year.
As I remember a tear rolls down my face.
But not just a tear of sadness also tear of joy.
A tear for all the good times and the bad.
A tear for all my teachers.
A tear for all my friends whether new or old.
A tear for all those who I have lost.
Suddenly tears are flowing down my face like a river and my cheeks are the riverbeds.
I start to laugh.
I laugh at my immature ways at the beginning of the year.
I laugh at my own stupdity.
People...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

Family
Daddy told me...
that family is the most important thing, and that thier bonds are unbreakable!
I think that it was a sincere longing in the beginning....
Someday I'll make a really big house....
so big no one can break it!!
And then all of us are going to live there together!!
I'm not sure of myself when that wish became an obsession...
But...
I'm sure I'll be alright...
I'll be alright...
I'll be alright...
I'm not the tiniest bit sad.
Where ever I am, I'll still be me.
And I'm positive that this great big family that nothing...
that family is the most important thing, and that thier bonds are unbreakable!

Do you know what it's like?
Do you know what it's like
when your dad does'nt come home one night becuase he was sent to jail?
Do you know what it's like
to have your mom hate you because you break everyting you touch?
Do you know what it's like
to have your brothers never talk to you?
Do you know what it's like
to have your best friend treat you like crap?
Do you know what it's like
to plaster on a smile everyday but you're dying on the inside?
Do you know what it's like
to want to kill yourself but your too afraid?
......Because I do......

Everyday
Everyday around quarter past three,
you burst into the bathroom searching for me,
I get hidden by your mother while you are away,
hidden, unused for most of the day,
I feel your anger as your hand grips me tight,
I'm the one & only thing that helps you sleep at night,
I live to put scars upon your wrist,
I leave my mark I'm proud of this,
I watch as the beautiful red blood pattern drips,
and runs off the ends of your fingertips,
what possesses humans to act like this,
to scream, cry & cut their wrists,
but for now...

The wound left
The wound left by the blade of steel bleeds out as she lies head in hand.
Wondering why her once seemingly perfect life took such a terrible stand.
She cries every night craving what her old, perfect life used to hold.
Her friends, her smile, her family, her unbreakable stronghold.
Her heart is broken by the one who she thought she loved more then anything.
He took her heart, her trust and her love and threw it away, now her wrists are aching.
Her love he threw away was all that had kept her safe, kept her alive.
Now without the feeling of being cared for she...

Angel
Through the rain and the wind she stands hard as a stone
In a world she can't rise above
But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place
Where she's loved
A statue stands in a shaded place
An angel girl with an upturned face
A name is written on a polished rock
A broken heart that the world forgot
If you keep building these walls
Brick by Brick towers so tall
Soon I won't see you at all
I knew who you were from the start
But now I don't know who you are
Soon there will be nothing at all
In a world she can't rise above

Stand Again
i lost myself
in that single moment
i tried to forget
it’s better left unsaid
close to the edge
sadly i tried to take
the easy way out
not realizing
my concequinces
so emotional
so broken
so lost
so unreal
cocked the gun
and im not saying
im sorry
i found my faith
i found my courage
i found my strength
i found hope
when i made mistakes
i am not weak
i am only human
and im not saying

i will never left regret
and it’s better left unsaid
