Fragmented body of a lonely soul
drifting in zones of level unknown
Uncharted by man yet souls do know
it well, the images here and beyond
where troubled hearts
traverse unaccompanied, alone
we are one in seeking
and the same to seek
There I meander, watching you
the meaning of my existence
In limbo I'm lumbered
in life I chose another
now I await the slumber
for us to be together
my love we float the feathered
petal skies through clouds forever
bodies die but love endeavours

I am...
laughter in the air
a child at the beach
a girl at the bar
a boy with a cigarette
a man with his dreams
a woman with her desires
I am...
existing in this world
a reflection in the mirror
a shadow on the wall
a midnight gasp of horror
a little girl's doll
a bereaved wife's sorrow
a husband's last regret
I am mere words
without which I am
nothing
but a huddled figure in a padded room
catching imagined swirling letters
circling my head.

One Phone Call (a collaboration with diddi)
I remember the night
the phone call ended
my soul descended
my spirit dismembered ,
I heard it alright
the voice of another
I felt like a nothing
cast aside
right after you lied
I think inside I died ,
I remember that night .
I heard the the throaty laughter
the satisfied purr
Of another from your bed
That sound stabbed
my heart a thousand times
as it echo and re-echoed
within the walls of my soul
I remember your sighs
after the loving
The laughter that was yours.

I am Grace
soulfully dancing with elegance
in gossamer gown of my fantasy
I am Grace and I embrace
all my strength and poise
my spirit soars with a joyful heart

lost and returned a gem
unique with the power of grace
that set me apart from others

where I embrace life with glee

Middle earth (a collaboration with Diddi)
So here I sit
again and face
a flat screen that's lit
veins pulse with every pace
I have to admit
you drive me insane
waiting for your written
words to take place
all birds they do race
high up in the sky
your name they do trace
sometimes I join their flight
as you take me away
all red and golden times
for us do await
The golden imaginings of an entwining
of souls, needful in their mind
a reaching to a middle world
where desires transcend flesh
where wraiths meet and curl ...

A little dying today
Dirges for my hopes
wailed from my heart
today
choking up my throat
tearing up my eyes
today
A little dying within
happened very slowly
today
A small chant began
within my soul
today
The chant for a dying
soul, incantations for peace
on the travel to the netherworld
today
There is a soul on a passage
to the other side
The spirit of my love
The soul of my heart
The hopes of my dreams
The future of my being
They started dying today
Cos I heard her sleepy voice
besides you, when...

Alone on this shore
Looking towards the horizon
I think of you once more
and wish I have forgotten
How we forged promises
Whispered in words
and written on the sand
The sun sets in the horizon
blazing redly against the sea

A quest
Open plains of my imaginings'
or is it a racial memory?
visions of the age of before
a grey tunnel, life time of cycles
in a world of swirling cosmic dust
there I seek you my soul-mate
Gone but not forgotten
to another world, another time
where dreams may come
and promises, old, be honoured
by lips on lips, whispers of the ancient
in old vines of conception
How did I miss you, my love
In this cycle of existence
when before I held your hands
and pledged this very life and existence

Till death do us part
Yellow was the colour of my love's hair
In the morning when dawn break
lighting us as we lay among the flowers
Under shady leaves drenched with dew
Green canopy was our wedding arch
Gigantic trees looming in benevolence
On the two lovers traipsing up the path
enchanted by the beauty of a quiet forest
White was the bubbles of the creek
as the water flowed quickly and busily
along its pebbly beds to the rivers
We bathed, smiling and laughing as we talked
Blue was the colour of the sky
When we kissed and made love ...

The minutes tick by
The falling leaf
drops ever so slowly
The tired coo of doves
echo and re-echo
Waiting is such a tired game
I count my breath
I watch the clouds
I shuffle and shift
lay down and close my eyes

Tired game, waiting is
You are not here yet...
where are you
I don't know
where are you...
so far away and yet so near
or are you in her arms
tonight?

My Love
My heart says
Lend me your grace, your love your desire
Hold me, stand me up in your arms
Engulf me in fiery passionate fire
Love me with all that is there
in your body and soul

of your touch your embrace
Show me love through the sparkle
in your eyes when you look at me
Be my beloved, lover, love personified
I sit here in front of you
a mug of steaming tea
on my hands,
I look at you within
