POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I do not compose the poems. They come to me on their own accord. I simply jot them down on paper.
Law's treachery
My sky shattered like glass
And my eyes started to bleed
The trees were set ablaze
And I despised my own name
My happiness stabbed me behind,
My masters handicapped me
I see and yet I am blind
To see the man I used to be!
To where have the days gone
When righteousness had lived?
Kill me, kill me, Anon
I wish not live!
Living betrayed by the law
I vomit for that I saw
The hypocrites live in heaven
And I live, living in treason!
I'll cut my every finger
They were but demonic tools
And bleed, in blood to...

Her hair in the wind blew
Her hair in the wind blew
Yet still she looked so fair
Looked at me like a lioness
And sternly, she didn't care!

Looked at me like a lioness
And sternly, she didn't care!

Avoiding your gaze
Whenever we do choose to converse
I turn from thine eyes for fear,
Fear to fall deep into your gaze
A void that ne'er fails to keep me.
Your gaze engulfs me in flames
And clutches my very soul, though
Please do not allow me to love
If you alone do not will it.
You know where my heart is
And I fret the force you bring
Shall be my beautiful demise;
Turning from my dream-your eyes.
And onto your eyes I'm tempted to cling
I turn from thine eyes for fear,
Fear to fall deep into your gaze
A void that ne'er fails to keep me.
Your gaze engulfs me in flames
And clutches my very soul, though
Please do not allow me to love
If you alone do not will it.
You know where my heart is
And I fret the force you bring
Shall be my beautiful demise;
Turning from my dream-your eyes.
And onto your eyes I'm tempted to cling

She cries in the rain
I imagined the rain pouring over her
Sharing her suffering, tear for a tear,
She looks up into the darkness above;
The clouds are her only friends here.
From a distance, I see…and if only I
Would be let to cry in her stead
Then maybe I, would never escape a sigh
For not being there in her time of need.
Sharing her suffering, tear for a tear,
She looks up into the darkness above;
The clouds are her only friends here.
From a distance, I see…and if only I
Would be let to cry in her stead
Then maybe I, would never escape a sigh
For not being there in her time of need.

I miss you
It’s almost as if I’m head deep in snow
Missing you, missing your smile…
And the way it just makes me melt
And makes me weaker than I’ve ever felt
You’ve always been my day, my sunshine.
Never has there come a day without you.
And never will the flowers spring
Without the life you alone do bring…
I dream of your hands interlocking mine
And forever to never, ever let go!
Because it is now so clear in my mind
I understand how much I need you so…
I miss you, dear...
Missing you, missing your smile…
And the way it just makes me melt
And makes me weaker than I’ve ever felt
You’ve always been my day, my sunshine.
Never has there come a day without you.
And never will the flowers spring
Without the life you alone do bring…
I dream of your hands interlocking mine
And forever to never, ever let go!

I understand how much I need you so…

Comfort for her tears
For a friend.
She who is sweet, and dear to me so
Is indescribable beyond the worth of mere words!
Her smile…could light up universes
And save a life so tragic as my own.
She stood under the rain so still…
To wash away tears of days and days of heartache
I could not fathom the thought of these tears….
For ‘tis too painful even for the angels...
She the wallflower so weak and trembled
Is yet to understand her unwavering strength!
To light up the lives of emotionless shades
And give life to the words of a loveless poet.
She who is sweet, and dear to me so
Is indescribable beyond the worth of mere words!
Her smile…could light up universes
And save a life so tragic as my own.

Darkness will woo another
If the stars were to die
They'll die out of envy
For darkness will woo another.
One by one, you make my stars fall
To dream of your bright, angelic eyes
And resist day, to stay for longer.
You take my breath away and I fear
It may last an eternity more than death
Yet every tear you make so sweet
And make me wish to regret...
Enchant my days; let me write
Make me tremble and lose all might
To dream of you in every night
And love you dear with every right.
They'll die out of envy
For darkness will woo another.
One by one, you make my stars fall
To dream of your bright, angelic eyes
And resist day, to stay for longer.
You take my breath away and I fear
It may last an eternity more than death
Yet every tear you make so sweet

Enchant my days; let me write
Make me tremble and lose all might
To dream of you in every night
And love you dear with every right.

One sided window
Let us not complicate love-
Worry not about me, nor think-
For like a window one sided
I shall admire you at a distance.
For love is not selfish, I mean not
To own the rose of my thoughts
But to glimpse a blur 'tis enough
To make a diamond out of the rough
And to see her smile at most
Forever shall my poems boast
Oh, the beauty behind glass
In my words, forever to last.
Worry not about me, nor think-
For like a window one sided
I shall admire you at a distance.
For love is not selfish, I mean not
To own the rose of my thoughts
But to glimpse a blur 'tis enough
To make a diamond out of the rough
And to see her smile at most
Forever shall my poems boast
Oh, the beauty behind glass
In my words, forever to last.

Reflection
There's something in the water
That ripples my still life anew
And it entices me to fall
Over the edge, into my view
That ripples my still life anew
And it entices me to fall
Over the edge, into my view

Into greener pastures
The wick of life and quenching dew
Shining iridescent o'er fair hills
On the margin of green pastures yonder
Where God's eye longs to stay still
Oh the green, lush, tranquil verdure
That sways brushed by cool winds
Moist by cold morning dew
And spectacle's light's many a hue.
Though we cannot forestall fate
There will come a day of drought
And mourn for the pasture barren
And grief for the pasture spring
My longing to stay shall remain
Eternal as memories shall never wane.
Shining iridescent o'er fair hills
On the margin of green pastures yonder
Where God's eye longs to stay still
Oh the green, lush, tranquil verdure

And grief for the pasture spring
My longing to stay shall remain

The flower
I awake covered in a heady enamor
And hurried steps to the garden drear
Before great light, in morning ere
When blurs in vision perceive as clear
I gazed the flower in the midst so fair,
That shy belle beautiful over there,
And to love the colorful I had ne'er
Wished to dream and in Agape so bare.
She swayed in the wind though unwillingly,
And it adorned her well I do agree.
And though unlike the lilies to me,
Still, beautiful, more than eyes can see.
I scorned with a smile, the wild blossom
Amid...

Discourse
Here, I am covered in a shroud of shadows
While my eyes bleed, wounded of the truth
And I listen intensively to my panting breath.
Why do I, why do I, why do I, why do I still?
Why do I hurt myself to understand myself?
This pain that I feel so excruciatingly burns
In the night so black, so drear, so melancholy
Immolates my being, my lone understanding.
And yet, I question myself through the wiser
And yet, I painfully scream still for an answer!
Please dear reader, as you course through these words
Gather the strength and open mindedness
To...
