Children of the Night
Set the skies on fire
as sheets of flames fall,
envelop the full moon
in seas of red.
Swirling in a violent haze
blood tear drops, dropping
in the night, torn
on the paths of shattered dreams.
Lost within a muse
every thought burns
the soul lucid, each turn
attacks, subtle-masked.
Shame burst forth like gales
I come and go, two worlds
shadow and light
the balance of a fine line.
Secret plots woven
the children of the night
chant their dirge furiously
before they...

Cruel Gaze
You see me by the cruel gaze
death kiss, pain
flaming thoughts within
clearly show my shame.
Blind to the signs of chaos
winds of sudden rage
myopic in scope, lost
as I sink into strange.
Death notes by rote spoken
walking the streets of the hopeless
streams of sad pathos
on still nights, I'm broken.
I cry for rest from the lies
tongues moving like vipers
venom filled assassins
slanderous, envious gossippers.
The clash of destinies, sanguine
as I search for truth, meaning
still...

Pearls at Your Feet
I watch pink-blue horizons
as visions of your face
fade in the red sinking sun
your fingerprints linger in the haze.
Reflections of white satin seas
open and shut walls
the Elysium of endless dreams
where shadow and light fall.
Nameless on these pages
weaving sweet tapestry
in sonnets, poetic sequences
as every word comes rapidly.

The Red Rose Declines
The red rose declines
as sunsets fade in time
the distance spreads before me
on Twilight Eve.
Days of the sweetest bliss
symphonies of a kiss
still lingers in my soul
I never had a love like that before.
It was like emerald skies
with silver moons
the mystery of the quiet still
and soft melodic tunes.
Shards of glass scattered
across the beautiful expanse
her love master, romance
moments that truly mattered.

Her beauty was captivating,
sweet of heart, flustered
within shades of hazel
searching still luster.
Lost in the tides, adrift
vacant stare of sadness
walking lovelorn shadows
on mystic nights.
She was perfect
the other half of me
pertinent like sunlight shafts
on a summer breeze.
Late nights talking
turning from passion to pain
passing moments walking
