The stars are out, the sky is clear as she lays, she feels the grass against her skin
Watchin’ the stars twinkle, shining so bright
As the darkness fills the night.
Closin’ her eyes, tryin’ to realize and let her heart know.
Just shatter completely so it will be thru and her pieces will begin to mend and let go
Let go of what was, and let it be what is, She’s done this many times before, why does it hurt so much more.
She gives her all every time.. but when her heartbreaks that person takes a piece of her with them.

Hear that?”
“What?”
Boom! Crackle, Kaboow!, the thunder bangs all around
Shakes thru the sky
as the lighting strikes the ground
“Listen carefully, it’s tellin’ a story”
“a story?”
“mhm, be still and you'll hear
The loss, the grief, the pain, the fear”
“Just that?”
“Nope, There’s more, you see;
There's also the rain, that breaks it free.”
The raindrops passes it all
It doesn't stop, til’ its gone thru.
“ I'm .. not following...
“What?”

You were so tiny in my arms,
Lookin up into my eyes,
I didn't even realize.
Not once or twice but three times would be the last I'd see..
Your sweet baby blues
Lookin back at me.
Lil' fingers around my class ring,
Like you always do.
How could I ever think it would end n be thru.
No more late nite cuddles, or smiles.
No more workout lil' kicks n giggles,
No more lil' cries or wiggles.
The only thing I have was that you were held in your last moments with me.
A Question still unanswered of how it came to be. ...
