Kalma
Dripping from your mouth come the screams of pain.
Anguish built up from all those years of a blistering hell.
That rumbling thunder;
the laugh of a cruel Goddess who will not save you.
You call out her name. You're begging for freedom.
The hot winds of desire carry your pain but all she does is laugh.
She's laughing at your struggle.
You're in need of freedom.
Enlightenment.
Yet death and decay watches from the shadows.
Her laugh of thunder once again shaking the earth beneath your filthy feet.
She will not...

Death herself
Under every sun,
Death admires you.
The abyss of her eyes,
Full of horrible thoughts.
In your conditions,
and laughable humanity,
Death only observes
Irony in your insanity!
Her dress exaggerated,
Her eyes,
Made of deep emptiness.
Her darkened elegance,
The unnamed human frame.

You opened your eyes and saw...
I am nothing
And nothing is me.
I tried to be everything you wanted me to be.
Yet I was never enough, you see?
I tried oh how I tried.
Yet with expectations so high,
You thought you could fly.
Your whole world;
Crumpled
When you finally saw;
I wasn't as perfect as you wanted me to be.
Your're now tired,
You're now weak.
Why don't you do yourself a favor?
And permanently leave?
And nothing is me.

My dream is to meet someone I can truly fall in love with.
A dream of fluffy dresses and a white wedding.
Of sunny mornings and another new day with the perfect other.

She feels this way
Note: Alright let's get into the story about this poem first! I was just spending some time with my best friend while she was talking to her boyfriend, during our whole video chat with him he described how he felt towards her and how much he loved her. (It almost made me cry!) So after we were done talking to him, she asked me if I could write something (that rhymed) about the way she felt towards him (Because apparently she thinks she has no "poetic potential" as she calls it.) and this is the result!

Devour this
Poor and meaningless.
Looking for answers;
For a simple way out.
Looking for somewhere to belong,
A simple being;
And some complicated love.
Looking for hope to devour,
In a simple delicate flower.
It's exactly what it seems.
What's a connection
Without a deception?
Yet walking with the rain
There's a need
To remember the pain;
Of loving.
There's never going to be
Any Forgiveness.
Weather it was promised,
Or not.

Regrets.

A morning Gallo
You said you'd never leave me,
You promised me you cared.
You kissed me goodnight,
But when morning came you weren't there.
That next night;
I set out to find you.
I looked in the shadows,
Until el gallo crowed at the sight of morning.
I know now;
That I will never find you.
I know now;
That I am lost.
With a gun held high to my head,
Hell does not make me tremble in fear.
Knowing now that I will never find you;
That's the only thing that makes me shed a tear.
You promised me you cared.

And that Suicide is our way to say;
"Screw you! You can't fire me because I QUIT."

For better, for worse, for richer, for poor, in sickness and health.

Just Live
Laugh as if you were a hyena,
Fly as if you were a hummingbird.
Stand strong;
Like a tree,
And root your soul.
Now you're a cloud,
Soaring above everything.
It's quite a cloudy day you say?
Be the rain,
Let your worries fall like raindrops on a sunny day.
Just live.
Let your emotion be a flowing river.
*Note this is meant as an assignment for my English class! I got bored so I decided to post! And during class FTW(;
