Somedays I want to write my life away
But somedays I’ll put the pen away
Since I’m dealing with misery and trapped in negativity
Damn, somedays I just want to get away
Somedays I want something new
Somedays I feel blue
These days not so many are true
Which is why somedays I don’t trust you
Which is why somedays I’m like fuck you
Because it’s days you just sit and waste away
Damn somedays you didn’t apply yourself or hustle
Always scrounging to get by or obtain your just due
Somedays I get bored ...
Somedays I want to write my life away

Truly determined to gain more

Ready to see what the most high has in store

A year ago, I remember a certain day
Of this beautiful lady I met at a certain place
She was an interesting lady that had so much to say
I wish I could have made her stay (a little while longer)
The girl of my dreams that got away
Is helping me feel the pain of my regrets today
I really admired your ambition

Here to tell the tales of what goes on in the hood
But outside of the box, higher powers are up to no good
Sitting back, watching the scenarios or sagas unfold
Yet still figuring out how to save some lost souls
Where I live there’s no peace
Where people can barely eat
Where some kids don’t see the age of 16
Only the pain of my struggle speaks
Hard to get a peace of mind
When gunshots wake you up out of your sleep
I saw predators become prey under merciless symptoms ...

As I look back
Reminiscing on how things used to be
Yet looking forward to things that could be
As I remember life was easier as a kid
Having fun and creating memories with my friends
Telling myself that everything was fun back then
But as always good things must come to an end
Wishing I could re-live those exciting times again
Yes it was a great time to be alive back then
What an interesting path

And the adults and prominent adolescents hanging out ...
