POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Waiting on a Call
She lay on her bed
Waiting on a call,
Instead of calling
Him; Dimmer the light
Outside did shine and
There was no one in sight:
They were all at the
Pond, pondering upon things
Too old for their age,
Their kisses and hugs
Nothing more than
Puppy-like affection
Her phone rang then;
She picked it up
Instantly: "Hello?" she asked.
And she waited for a reply
But not a word was spoken
And then a barely audible
"click."
Her irritation grew
"Babe, we're through,"
she cried out...

Lost in Sleep
Imagination?
What does the mind provide
But a tool of vivid sensation?
I spent nights
Dreaming of dreams
Seemingly realistic
In all its nature
But I
Cannot accept what I perceive
In sleep.
The dark maze
Of lonliness,
I navigate
Around the walls
With instinctive will,
Only to find
The exit is no where to be
Found. Around one corner
Was a sign
Composed of metallic redness,
"Stop," it said.
I met some one that instant,
Her visage unfortunatly
Blank in my mind,
But her touch as we...

'Tis you
His lonliness aspired
New-found glimpse
To a hope so bright,
Let the light
Shine upon the two
Intertwined in a kiss
Of lovely bliss
As the sun
Conversed with the moon.
"Inspire me,"
He said,
To the girl
With the heart of glass,
His cotton fingertips
Carressing the cracked
Shards of insecurities
That burdened her
With memories like
"Blades to the soul,"
she replied.
She yearned
For his touch,
As he did
For hers
Letting every moment pass
On clouds too full with...

Dear Bowlmaster
With every means
To gratify the soul,
The heart, the mind,
Load the bowl,
The spark too friendly,
My wounds too deep,
Only escaping
When I fall asleep.
Having
Simplistic visions of a complex world,
Tell me sir,
Has the path uncoiled?
The lonely labyrinth
I walk,
Seeking some light
In this world infested by
Man's blight.
I sought the path to heaven,
As I did for hell,
All I found was indifference
Laying around like...
