How much do I have to give before I receive
How much do I have to feel
How much does my heart have to bleed
How do I give what you want
How do I give what you need
What do I have to do to be seen
I stand here strong but I don't know if I'll stand for long
Im weak at the knees

Arms Open
From the start I tried to be the best man I could be
Hoping something could come of you and me
Hoping this could be something true and something great
But your heart is still with him, you still have his taste
I wont put my heart between you two
I will not fight because the choice is up to you
I've proved to you how much I care
As I look back at it all
Was anything ever there
I feel like my heart is closing
Only time will tell
If my arms will still be open
Hoping something could come of you and me
Hoping this could be something true and something great
But your heart is still with him, you still have his taste
I wont put my heart between you two
I will not fight because the choice is up to you
I've proved to you how much I care
As I look back at it all

You were there through thick and thin
Loved me when I was perfect

You were there to hold up my head

All I want is the feeling of my arms filled with you
Your head rested on my chest
No thoughts of anything but the comfort of us two
No thoughts of tomorrow or what comes next
Please don't change me that is not what I ask
Please change the thought that it will never be found

Every key every note the piano plays
Gets me through my life gets me through my days
Brings contemptment to my pain
Forgiveness to my past
Gets rid of my fears
Gives tears to the ones I've lost

I know the games you want to play
I know you want someone who is here for you
You keep nothing but the feelings of hurt
You hide all you pain behind those eyes
You will do everything to push the good away
My curse loving you before you love yourself
It will linger inside, you will remember letting me go
Then its gone Then we're over
I will give you what you wont give yourself
You'll run away afraid its to good to be true
I'll be left with nothing but the memories of you

How can I have so much pain without any sin
