i See You in the Mirror
a step behind
your essence always a fleeting spark in my wake
but tonight i turned
and i encountered you there
a flutter across my existance
leaving ripples of grand design
but your ripples no longer disorient me
I see all your stinking sign
so sip your glass cautiously
it's rimmed with the fruit of your own vine
will death be merciful, or riddled with pain born of shame
the choice is yours
for mine has been made
no anger, no malice,only gratitude
I HAVE NO SHAME!
I am just me and...

Flower
so many medications
to lift the spirit, clear the mind
then two more to help the reactions of the previous drug
and on and on it goes
I've decided to drop them all and try a more organic solution
the drug that is illegal but easy to get
funny thing though, I've not much experience with it
unlike what seems everyone else
so here I go, as soon as I rest my pen
the pungent (skunky) smell
overwhelming me
as I free the buds
ground and prepared
bowl ready for the load
wish me luck as i go
down...

I used to think that the worst thing you could do was to completely disappear. But now I know there's something worse...nobody noticing that you've disappeared.

I beg for solitude
once I get it I cry out in loneliness
growing up, learning from banging my head against the wall, I learned to slow down, take a deep breath and just enjoy the ride

men died for your unappreciative belligerence
but I don't expect you to understand
earning more in a day than such men in a lifetime
mothers lost sons, wives husbands
children grown, their father never known
entitlement is an over statement
lives shattered, hearts lament
the American dream,
education, oppurtunity
white picket fence
just so you could dis
the author of your millions
you are no role model
no more than scum
bite the hands that feed you ...
but I don't expect you to understand

soft Summer breezes stir
pink blossoms bob in its wake
close your eyes, hear my sighs
something holy between us
serenity devine
Sharon is there, putting on her full display
no need for man's ornamentation
