Caramel Dreams
My mind painted with warm,velvety caramel
I see you now, utopia
Big belly laughs and unyielding limbs
Is this real? Or do you tease to
please
Colours, shapes and sounds
Stand tall, exquiste and proud
Thoughts fragmented, cementing
Fanning the flame
Never relenting
For you, my friend
Are what I need
Golden drifts and idyllic haze
A smirking Cheshire cat
Wandering aimlessly through the maze

The Man Who Threw Away His Flute
A glistening golden flute
Adrift on the damp coarse sands
Threw away by a perfectionisty player
He who was never good enough
Never nurtured enough
Tomuster a seasoned sound
A sound scented with melancholy
A sound reeking of beauty
The lowly one noted recorder
Is content just to be
Happy as Larry
With a note ringing of simplicity
A note of remote
Just like the man who threw away his flute
Emerging from his disillusioned frown
He now recalls the seasoned sound

A sound reeking of...

Expansion of the mind
Corrosive and unkind
Ignorance is bliss
A timid summer's kiss
Whistful and waiting
Forever lamenting

Awoken
No longer do I fear your touch,
Instead I marvel at mystical beauty
That of a glorious god,
That of a heinous angel.
Wicked eyes slake elation
Skin is drenched in scorching sweat
Serpent’s smile has broken boundaries
In dizzying heights of unbridled bliss.
Come hither my Lord, for my thirst can never be quenched
Come hither my master, for I am in debt to you
Come hither my companion, for I have absorbed the truth.
My eyes are no longer sealed by slander,
They have awoken to the light of heaven, only to find dark. ...

Taste The Raw Lavish
The constricted box of tedium
Reality, a tiny postage stamp
The numbing pain of the mundane
Fantasy, an unattainable entity
The walls have collapsed
Hedonism mystified by evil
Wrong doers, boundary breakers
The realm is theirs to reap
Altruistic intentions
Selfish deceptions
Fight or flight
The mind's nurtured plight
Poisonous pleasures
Seeping existence
Flee the confined conscience
In the momentary breaths of your mortality

My Confession
I called upon the supreme sinner
To aid my rise to glory
The lone throne mine to cherish,
For long glorious years
The path of enlightenment
Now lies before me
The rousing skies,
Erase the power hungry haze
That has clouded my mind too long
A pact made with evil delusions
Foolish I was to put trust in poisonous tyranny,
And yet it was he who revealed my oversight
I ponder loathingor respect
My fate now lies with the gods
I have faith in their forgiveness,
Yet I am still tormented by doubt
I know not whether rage...
To aid my rise to glory

Resolve My Soul
The Bubbling torment inside myself
My blackened soul consumed by a ring of fire
The phantoms of the flames beckon me
With contorted features of hungry malice
When will you seek me out?
When will your arms come forth and snatch me?
Please have Mercy -for I have sinned
Yet myheart isbrimming with remorse
I dread the deeds that will be bestowed upon me
Please do not feed me to the banished beasts
My silk dress is still fragile
My soul lingers untouched
Grotesque visions haunt my every being
But despite flawlessness,
Impurity...
