Too much

Its too much to handle
Too much going on
Its taking a toll
Want the stress to be gone
I can't do this on my own
Can't take it anymore
Tired of feeling all alone
Its torturing me down to my core
I'm ready for it all to be over
Always searching for a four leaf clover
So I can make a wish
Though it may sound selfish
I'm ready to move on
To the next chapter in my life
When I can finally be happy
With no more stress or strife
Summer 2015

Deep inside
Inside my mind
I can't let go
Let go of you
I just don't know
What I should do
I crave you when you're away
Want to be with you every day
Without you I'd go insane
Without you I can't stand the pain
I love you more than life itself
If I didn't have you it would be hell
I'm so lucky to be your girl
For you I'd circle the whole world
Your touch sends shivers
Down my spine
A good kind of shiver
Not the bad kind
I crave to feel your lips
Pressed against mine
We must hurry

I'm drowning, falling
Breaking, aching
Hating, fading
Feel like I can't take it
Just can't shake it
In so much pain
Wish it would go away
I've had it up to here
Wish my mind would be clear
Don't know which way to turn

nightmares
Life is a nightmare
Living in despair
Suffocating without any air
Not like they care
Living in an asylum
You'll never see daylight
They should see your dreams
They're a torturing sight
They all say you're crazy
You're thoughts are getting hazy
From all the meds they give you
But they haven't got a clue
You try to escape
To a better place
Just counting the days
It's like you're stuck in a maze
Never to be free
Can it really be?
Always alone
This is what I know
Living in despair
Suffocating without any air
Not like they care

I'm a semi-finalist in a poetry competition with an older poem of mine so I figured I would share it again with yall :) hope u enjoy

I would have died 1,000 deaths
I would have given you my best
But you took my heart
And you tore it apart
Now there's a pain within my chest
I've always caught you when you'd fall
I've always given you my all
Now you want me back
But you can't have that
And to me you will come crawl
I am sick of all your games
All your excuses are the same
Now the tables turn

my secrets that haunt me
You're everything I want
And I'm everything you need
My secrets will always haunt
My warnings you must heed
Too many skeletons in my closet
so many that I can't share
Since the moment we met
I wanted to tell you, but wouldn't dare
But none of that matters
When I'm with you
You're my light in the darkness
My dream come true
There's so reason to cry, love
There's nothing left to fear
You must have been sent from above

imprisoned
Imprisoned inside of my mind
Feeling the evil inside
I've lived long enough with this lie
I'm searching for somewhere to hide
Wanting you by my side
It's you I'm trying to find
But there isn't a thing I can do
I've lost something inside of me
Looking for a way to undo
The mysteries of destiny
Destiny hasn't been kind to me
I've been through so much already
Wish for a way to be free

a blade into my heart
It started out great
With what seemed like destiny
Nothing but love between us
We'd stay up talking late
And the way you looked at me
Was always a plus
You changed soon after the start
And then after a while
you thought it was best that we part
I felt like I was in exile
I feel the happiness fade
The cliff seemed steeper
I couldn't jump from the start
And you pushed the blade
A little bit deeper
Into my heart
With what seemed like destiny
Nothing but love between us

Gasping for air
In this thing we call life
Falling into an abyss of despair
With Never-ending strife
Emerging into a new world
Not knowing what to do
My vision is now blurred
All I see is you
I can't stop thinking of your face
Falling away from me
I can't help but feel disgrace
Knowing I'm just a memory
Lost without words
In this game we call life
I think I'm on the losing team
Can't you hear me cry?

Because I'm in agony
Why are you playing with me?
Because I'm in misery
I just can't stand the pain
And its driving me insane
But maybe I'm to blame
For letting you play games
I miss you so much
It's killing me inside
I miss your sweet touch
And the way you looked into my eyes
What happened to the way
The way we used to be?
What happened to our love?
I used to think it was sent from above

Through thick and thin

I can feel the love
Shown in your eyes

Can't be disguised
I feel so lucky
