POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I like dark themes better than light ones, so that is how I write. If you want to check out my poems, don't expect that many to have a 'light' meaning.
Words...
The words go in one ear
And out the other
I hate your voice
And I hate what it says
I hate the lips that part to speak it
And I hate the expression
In your eyes as you say it
I feel tied down by them
Yet they mean nothing to me
I feel hurt, ruined, used
But I never feel free
For your words may not mean anything
But they are still something to me...
And out the other
I hate your voice
And I hate what it says
I hate the lips that part to speak it
And I hate the expression
In your eyes as you say it
I feel tied down by them
Yet they mean nothing to me
I feel hurt, ruined, used
But I never feel free
For your words may not mean anything
But they are still something to me...

Void
What was the beginning?
It was probably need.
I'm not sure, though.
Did love come next? Probably.
I know for a fact that hate
Was present the most.
Embarrassment was in the mix,
Lasting almost as long as hate.
I think pain became a combination
Of the depression and sorrow.
But I can't tell anymore.
Now that they're all gone
There isn't much left.
I think they left through the void,
But I might be wrong.
And I think...

Colors of the Rainbow...
Someone asked me what love was,
and I said I couldn't say.
Someone asked me what hate was,
and I said it was a rainbow.
That someone asked me what I meant,
and I said to this person:
rage is the deadly red;
horrible sense, the acidic orange;
pride, the bright yellow;
envy, the sickly green;
cold fury, the icy blue;
and violent urges, the bruising purple.
This person asked me how I knew this,
And I just smiled and said,
"'Cause there's a rainbow after every rain-shower,
And I've seen a lot of them..."
and I said I couldn't say.
