Looking in the mirror
I see this girl
Pale skin, swollen eyes
She has a look on her face
A look of disappointment
Shame, regret, such disgust.
In a way this girl kinda looks like me.
But it couldn't be,
I'm happy, I look great, have no regrets.
I walk closer to the mirror
with this girl following my every move.
I scream out "WHO ARE YOU"
The girl responds in a fragile voice
"I am YOU"
Standing there confused
I scream again that there's no way
we are the same
The girl in the mirror says ...
