He was just some boy from school
A stranger to me as any other
Helplessly breaking all the rules
Who would have thought life would bring us together
And he would change his helpless ways
Who would have thought we would build a city from the stars and 4am bed sheets
I would have thought we would live there forever
But as faith would have it

Now I'm jut some girl from school
A stranger to him as any other
Our city still stands tall
Even though I've been evicted
I can see the stars in his eyes
He stands as the tallest building ...

smoke enhabits my air starved lungs
as a tingly numb feeling invades me
Like my blood has become carbonated
With little bubbles that rise up
To poke at my skin

The whole world starts to vibrate
In tiny fast jerks back and forth
I started laughing and fall on my back
The whole world turned into a bubble
Like the atmosphere shrunk down to the point of making me claustrophobic
I felt hot
I desperately wanted to break free
Only seconds went by
I felt like I had been trapped
for half an hour
for days
time didnt exist...

As if i didn't already know
my life went down the drain
with the backed up whiskey
hurled into the toilet
i stared at it
it might as well have been my identity
swirling out of sight

as my intoxicated state gets the best of me
im great full for the grimy bathroom floor
which seems to have become the only thing that has my back
and when gravity
ceases to exist
its amusing as to what your priorities become
turning into things so simple

all i wished for in that moment
as the world screamed and danced...

the roaring sound of the beloved now destroyed
considered unholy by blind
though i live my life by their insightful words
love and be loved is the message i find

demonic screams and a devilish look
inflict nightmares to the skin deep at heart
but my ears hear no daemon
they see no devil
i hear but passion
and see but expression
of a beautiful soul

Those who can not only see this
and not only hear this
but feel it within their own
are forever united
in the army of the fallen and the strong
