I started writing love letter 39 years ago at that time she was my girlfriend, married 38. to say I love you seemed never enough. so over the years i have written thousands of letters odes poems and notes some pretty good and some not so much

shadows
shadows silhouette projected
you and me tangled sheet
moving in rhythm in the fall of life
as in our teens and now my wife
as we approach our twilight
we find intimacy more exciting
the empty nest is what has energized
you still excite pleasure and delight
even more than our wedding night
we lost only time in our youth
what we have gained is experience
in maturity and each others pleasure needs
when we fumbled in the dark now art refined
no longer focused on that pleasure of that big “O”
that come with the way love...

I am such a blessed man
God blessed you with such beauty
for me you were out of reach
smooth and tanned
skin kissed by he sun
bronze gold and a touch of peach
so beautiful you are to me
I am a blessed man by you
you did choose me
wit such beauty and charm
you could have had any number
lined up to be on there arm
now that tanned skin
from that Indian summer
we became intimate lovers
I still get lost in those dark eyes
like that first night
those eyes I melt in every time...

Beauty Queen
seen from a far
yet it was only a few feet
across the Table we did met
in a dim lit dance hall
there was no doubt about it, pretty as can be
did I dare ask her to dance would she
so beautiful, afraid I would make the cut
as fate would intervene she was introduced to me
with this Beauty Queen I desired to dance
I didn't give her a chance to say no
I took her hand and headed to the floor
from that first step she fallowed my lead
every step in tune with the music
every step we were match perfectly
I knew in that moment...
yet it was only a few feet
across the Table we did met

dreams are just reality conceived
my love you were conceived in my dreams
that first night in May
my dream was manifested in to reality
you were everything and much more
beautiful unapproachable
yet the innocent girl next door
I had never met anyone like you before

you didn't see this deficiency in me
that's all I had needed was that chance
for you to see me for me
we fell in love very quickly

with a pure spring close by
