I have always loved to write and I am learning to expand my poems. I love writing them and reading others and I hope to continue to improve mine. I have written poetry for a long time but not on a lot of subjects and they all tend to be kinda similar.

Start to End...just like that
I want to be mad
For what you do to me, eachday
Toying with my heart
Then letting go and walking away
You run to her
And leave me alone
Then come back at night
To talk on the phone
When I hear your voice
My heart skips a beat
And each thought of you
Makes my knees get weak
This feeling passes
And my stenght just leaves
I can't get mad
For you make me smile with ease
But I can't stay
Because with her
I'm second by the end of the day
So I leave my heart
And forget the start
Because although it was perfect...

A Best Friend
Waking up in the morning
The first thing on your mind
Is your best friend
That brightens your life
Making it shine
Going through the day
Your heart missing her
Since she is miles away
Smiling at the inside jokes you have
And knowing when by her side
You can’t be sad
Remembering the laughs
And the cry’s you shared
And no matter what happens
Always showing care

Best Friend
the girl who always knows what im thinking
cause she thinks the same way
the girl who is there by my side
when i have a bad day
the one i know can make me smile
just by seeing one on her face
the one that i can have the best time with
when we're in the same place
the girl who i laugh with
just cause we want to
the girl who makes up my other half
and yes that is completely true
the one who knows me without a doubt
the one that i could not live without
the girl i love so much with my heart
the girl who was my best friend from the start...
cause she thinks the same way

when i have a bad day
the one i know can make me smile

11 a.m.
11 a.m.
Each snowflake falling down
Makes me miss each kiss I have with you
That makes my heart pound
As I sit here watching the rain fall
I begin to miss your warm embrace
As the rain falls down my window
Like tears fall down my face
The sound of each rain drop
Slowwly hitting the ground
Reminds me of your soft voice
Oh how I love that sound
Outside,
The wind blows every way
Like every thought of you
Running through my mind
Reminding me how much I miss you
And that I only wish
You could come and stay
...

Bad Before Good
I feel empty and cold
Lonely like my heart will break
Shattering into too many pieces
A puzzle that will not be solved
Alone in the world
With no one to love
And no one to love me
I feel as if it’s the end
But I know it’s not
I have to keep on walking
But the road has stopped
Two years have passed
And now the bad is worse
Standing by myself
I only seem to hurt
Even with the good in my life
The bad shows up first

Reaction vs. Reality
I chased him
He caught me
I held on
But he let go
I cried
He walked away
How could this happen
You want to know
When you fall to fast
Reaction hits first
Then reality follows

One Wish
A wish that can’t be granted
But one I want to come true
A dream that I keep having
One that includes you
A story I repeat in my mind
Where you and I are together
I hope someday you will find
That we could last forever
The wish that haunts my thoughts
But I love so much
The dream that makes me lost
Every time we touch
The story is my wish
Just take the time to see
We can be in love
It is possible for you and me to be
But one I want to come true

My Wish Is For You
Must forget
Can no longer want
Just move forth
Or forever he will haunt
But as I sit
Writing these lines
Trying to make a rhyme
He is all I think about
He is all I want
I want us to intertwine
To fall in love
And for him to ever be mine
But I can’t think like this
I need to change my thoughts
Change my mind
It doesn’t matter though
What I do
Or how hard I try
I will always
want him to be mine
I will always wish he was here
I will always hurt
Because the wishes I want
