"And in the end, I believe that we don't need to do anything to be loved.
We spend our lives trying to seem prettier, smarter.
But I realized two things.
Those who love us see us with their hearts and attribute qualities to us beyond those we really have.
And those who don't want to love us will never be satisfied with all our efforts.
Yes, I really believe that it is important to leave our imperfections alone.
They are precious to understand those who see us with the heart. "

“I swore never to be silent whenever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must take sides.
Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere.
When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant.
Whenever men and women are prosecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must--at that moment--become the center of the universe.”

I now do understand your support, some are saying a son’s death confession was the cause of him… you know…. committing suicide… I know such a decision is an ‘abomination’ to the laws of ‘Allah’s spiritual laws of order. Yes, yes, I know grandma, then this from me. Grandma! What generational of limp stemmed apples supposedly to have violently clawed out your polluted womb of discontent, wickedness. Wow these, words went so well with the short narrative.

What love and devotion a grandma must have for a cursed bloodline of limpies, and flippies.

Not just in action, but word too.

It should've ended there. Right there.

“Socrates said, “The misuse of language induces evil in the soul.” He wasn’t talking about grammar. To misuse language is to use it the way politicians and advertisers do, for profit, without taking responsibility for what the words mean. Language used as a means to get power or make money goes wrong: it lies. Language used as an end in itself, to sing a poem or tell a story, goes right, goes towards the truth. A writer is a person who cares what words mean, what they say, how they say it. Writers know words are their way towards truth and freedom, and so they use them with care, with thought, with fear, with delight. By using words well they strengthen their souls. Story-tellers and poets spend their lives learning that skill and art of using words well. And their words make the souls of their readers stronger, brighter, deeper.”

~ Ursula K. Le Guin
