It looks like my previous text is lost.
O well…..
I used to use Skrip by Scheaffer, but -especially jet black- is very aggressive. Even the Schaefer converters were attacked and started leaking after two months or so.
Nowadays I use Diamine, which is an English company producing some 120 colours ink and very easy flowing/stable quality wise.
Saturated ink can be changed by using some water.
Watery inks are no fun to write with.
This include Parker, Lamy, even Mont Blanc. The standard names.
But maybe it’s better to ask Ajay, since he uses different kinds of ink.
I can ask a friend of mine. Hé travels a lot and maybe he knows what brand to look for in Portugal.
But my first suggestion would be @Ajay
I really don’t know if writing @Ajay will activate a notification on DUP.
But I will find out I guess.
The search for the right ink will be continued.
Kind regards, Gus
O.K, thanks for that.
Due to bloody Brexit, stuff from U.K is hard to get now, and gets stuck in customs in Lisbon where you have to perform a "desalfadegamento" which is as difficult as it sounds. Never mind, thanks for the tip, and I'll sort something out. Cheers, Josh.

@Josh
There are a couple of alternatives.
Import the ink yourself is not the way, I think. Expensive and troublesome.
I buy my ink in my local community, but I know that Amazon sports Damine ink in 80, 60 ml and even in 15 I believe.
If you type Amazon.pt, they connect you with the Spanish site.
I know it works because, as you can see they noticed that I approached them from Paises Baixos. Through Portugal.
But before talking about distribution, you must (must nothing of course) find out which ink you prefer. And I am convinced that Ajay can help you if needed.
Last resort is to order it in the Netherlands and have it send to your address in Portugal. I am certain it can be done, but why opt for an expensive route when the powers that be are eager to serve you?
Send a Personal Message (or the gods may know what name they use in DUP). Click on Ajay’s avatar and choose ‘send message’ or so such thing.
So far so good. There are possibilities to ensure that you find your love for writing with a pen back.
Questions? Please ask!

Thank you. My wife bought me a nice Parker Pen as a replacement. But I find my usual black Parker 'Quink' that I keep buying is more watery than it used to be.
Hi, Josh.
Which Parker pen did your missus buy for you? Parker Quink Black is generally regarded as quite a dry ink. I've put a few links of online stationers below who ship abroad. Email any of them them to ask about inks most compatible with your pen. They're all Penheads, so I've found them more than happy to help. If you decide to buy, compare the shipping charges of each of them.
As Gus said, Diamine inks are generally reliable, plus they're cheap, allowing lots of experimentation. A 30ml bottle, for example, costs less than three quid here. You wouldn't have to pay the VAT, either. You're surely a Green Ink bloke. 🙃

The verse form ‘Olleke Bolleke’ is rather populair in NL.
It’s the NL version of the English Higgeldy Piggeldy - double dactyl.
Since 1982 of so I used several variations of this double dactyl to include them in my lyrics.
Many lyrics are waiting to be put to music. This one was put to music the day before yesterday.
Hi, Gus.
I've just seen your posts. Love the handwriting! Mine's rubbish.
Long live the fountain pen! 🖋️
All the best,

Hi Ajay, you and Gus have come up trumps for me; many thanks. I realise how little i know about ink. As it just happens, I have a friend going to U.K with a van - and will be bringing back a baffle-plate and some parts for my Esse wood-burner - so I have the chance to add some ink too
. But I'm also used to getting stuff through Amazon.es and Amazon.de since Brexit. All the best, Josh.

@Josh: happy hunting
@Ajay: like your poetry and handwriting. Marine is a bit too green for my taste. Is a left oblique one, where the left of the two parts is shorter? As seen from the point of view of the writer?
In that case all my oblique pens are left oblique.
Everyday I learn something.
Kind regards, Gus

Hi, Gus.
Yes, that's correct re left-oblique nibs. They slope downwards from right to left. Right-oblique nibs, of course, slope the opposite way and are for left hookers. It confused the f*ck out of me when I was buying me first one. 🙃

Old handwritten poem..no special pen..I recently posted it on my page titled "The End Is Near"..it took forever to follow the winding words and type up on this forum..wrote it roughly 25-30 years ago(damn now I feel old)
